Squirrel Rock RV Campground-Single

The campsite is set up so we’ll. Everything you need and more! There is even a horse shoe pit. The hosts were helpful and responsive. We will definitely be booking again!

Our fantastic experience at Squirrel Rock exceeded our expectations. This was a beautifully unique experience totally unlike those crowded parks with campsites all in a row. You are greeted by Julie who truly is there to make the experience work for you. There is one campsite or two if you’re in the same group. You’ll have plenty of space, a large shaded area, full hook-ups, BBQ and a lot more. Julie has created a very well thought out camping experience and we’ll be back for sure.

The space that Julie has created for her guests is intimate and beautiful. It’s an amazingly well laid out and thoughtfully built nook, private and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay and our visits to local businesses suggested by Julie.

Great place to get away. Julie has done an incredibly professional job in creating this space for others to enjoy. Everything is so inviting and comfortable while enjoying the nice mixture of the sun, shade, and the awesome rock formations. Of course enjoy the squirrels run around! Very close to Historic Columbia and so many other great activities that Julie shares with you. Or just chill and relax to enjoy the surroundings.

Julie's setup is wonderfully designed and executed. Obviously a lot of thought has been put into the site, which is perfect for a single or double-occupancy for RV - including water/power hook-ups, fire-ring, picnic table and camp games. Julie only rents to one group at a time - which means you have the site for yourself to enjoy the privacy and chill-out. Plenty of space for our Golden Retriever to chase his ball. Great location to get to local attractions, including Columbia, Murphys and Sonora. We were greeted on arrival, given some local tips and then left in peace. We'd definitely return if we're in the area, and perhaps brings some friends to enjoy the experience.

Julie and Gwen have done the perfect layout for 1 motor home and 1 trailer. Site is spotless,host treats you like family. Loved it again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Squirrel Rock Campground. Julie and Gwyn are great hosts, and they truly have developed a perfect camping spot. Loved the rock lined trails, the proximity to the historic park, the wonderful restaurants and the great little airport to watch the small planes. But yet you feel like you are in your own little world. The camp spot has a cool rock wall with the picnic table tucked in. Great rock coverage on the ground, just feels so “clean”. Beautiful landscape lighting for the evening. We can’t say enough good things about Squirrel Rock. We will be back!!

This place is special, loved every minute of it. We’ll be back.

We love the location! It’s so convenient to hop over to Sonora, Columbia State Park and to Murphys. The campsite, itself, is so clean and tidy with lots of room to gather outside. We love the peace and quiet and the warm welcome of the string lights glowing when we get back from our day adventure. We also like how the pea gravel base helps to keep our trailer dirt free! We’ve already scheduled our 3rd visit in June! And the hosts are top notch!!!!
