The campsite was easy to find and very quiet. The bathrooms and other amenities were very clean. I would definitely recommend.
Great spot and easy to find in the dark. Sites were spacious and amenities readily accessible.
Be sure to follow the directions for finding the campsite.
Absolutely loved our stay at Tom’s! There’s everything you need and if you remain quiet you might see a few deers passing by. Only a short drive away from Yosemite, just perfect!
Pretty campsite with beautiful views and deer walking around during sunset. Tom and his wife were very friendly and gave us some good tips for Yosemite. The park is a not too long and pretty drive away.
Sanitary was clean and there was some water near the toilets. We didn‘t have time to play pingpong but the small touches near the playing area make this place very cosy!
This was a perfect place to stay after a day in Yosemite! Loved that it's a small place with space between sites after a crowded day at Yosemite. We stayed in site 1 and it was nicely tucked away amoungst the trees and had shade. The port-a-potties were the cleanest I've ever used. The see saw was unique and fun to have a ping pong table!
Good to bring a tarp for under tents because the ground is woodchips.
We loved camping on Tom's land. The site was clean and quiet and the host was very friendly.
The sites were clean and looked like the pictures. Tom was also very welcoming and friendly. There definitely were a good amount of mosquitos at the site, but good bug spay and a citronella candle took care of most of that. The biggest downfall was the poison oak which was EVERYWHERE. Luckily, my partner and I were able to avoid it (its been about 5 days and no rashes yet.) However, there was a stray dog that wandered around throughout the site. While the dog was very sweet and friendly (it actually slept outside of our tent all night) we worried about petting it and giving it attention because it wandered through the poison oak all the time. It brushed up on our legs and tent so we had to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes and immediately change our clothes. Not the way to feel very relaxed when you are on vacation.
We were very pleased with our experience at Tom's land! It was very quiet and the area was pretty secluded. Definitely camp living but the small water basin and the portable toilets were well cleaned, smell surprising well, and the "fancy lighting" system at night definitely was a bonus.
Tom swung by to check up on us and see how we were doing which was really nice. And then that night we got a lovely sung lullaby by the owls and frogs as I happily fell asleep!
