Darryl is the host with the most for boondocking. The property has fruit trees in abundance and a pretty pond. As a pet lover sans my pets the dogs and cats were a joy to have around. Sitting and chatting with Darryl about my favorite agriculture was the highlight for me. 10 out of 10 would stay again

Darryl is super friendly, but that cat is even friendlier! I haven't had such a good night's sleep in ages, man, those crickets... Nice place, camping in the fruit orchard, tons of stars, deer milling about in the dusk, turkeys climbing into the fruit trees...

Great campsite and have everything you need. It’s in a very rural area so you can see lots of animals up close, turkeys, deers, etc. Since you are camping under the apples trees, plenty of free apples to enjoy.

It was great to meet Daryl—he was very communicative and had wonderful stories about living in the area as well as helpful advice about things to
do while we were there. The land is beautiful.

Beautiful property in the mountains of southern Humboldt county. Attentive host, great fruit trees, everything you need easily accessible. The shower & composting toilet aren’t anything special but do the trick. Well priced & nice to see off the beaten path.
