If you are a camper, you HAVE to book this spot.
This site is truly something special. I am unsure how to really put a description in words. The photos on this site- and indeed my tragic attempts to capture the magic- all fail (and substantially) in encapsulating just what you are getting.BUT what truly makes this place stand out is the substantial falls- two of them- that cascade at least a few hundred feet down to a roaring river. The host, Hudson, explained that it was two creeks that were pouring into what was the head of the Fresno River. I say this to impress upon all: I anticipated a mild trickle near our site. I was thinking I was going to get soothing sounds of a zen water fountain- but no... This is the rushing of massive amounts of water. It is spectacular and breathtaking and just really cleanses the mind when you try and sleep off. During the day, there is a small path that allows you to get better views of the falls.
The site itself is down a relatively steep drive- so heed the warnings about arriving after dark because it is just unwise to try and initially navigate without some daylight. It is secluded, even though it is set in a pseudo residential area. The site is flat, and the ground is easy to stake. If I could change one thing, I would ask for a grill grate for the fire- but otherwise, if you are a camper- you HAVE to book this spot. It is perfection.
This is a fantastic place to camp. The stream and private waterfall is majestic, and the owners are super friendly and helpful. We will definitely camp here again!
This was a most wonderful experience! What a gem. The waterfalls are amazing. Our dogs were in heaven as were we! Wendy was gracious and responsive! We definitely plan to come back!

I loved camping here! You can here the constant water falling and it was fairly private which was great. Met with the host and they were kind, quick to respond, and helpful. The bathroom/bucket situation isn’t bad at all, easy instructions on how to dispose. Definitely made the experienced campers. Bring a lot of light of your own and bug spray! It was a great touch to have potable water from a hose and an extension cord. Definitely recommend! Close to Yosemite’s south entrance!
Hudson and Wendy’s land is gorgeous. They were superb hosts and I would definitely camp there again.
The creek was roaring and it felt like our own personal waterfall to explore and enjoy during our stay.
The hosts were very communicative. Wendy was very welcoming and kind when we met her.
The spot was beautiful, nestled down in a valley next to a stream with multiple waterfalls. There are houses nearby but the campsite is private with lots of trees. Convenient to town and easy drive to Mariposa Grove entrance to Yosemite.
I cannot say enough incredible things about Wendy and Hudson. We came across a hiccup and Wendy and Hudson were so understanding and kind and helpful. We were so lucky to have them as our hosts as I don’t know many others that would have been as patient or graceful as them. And the spot itself, WOW! It is so beautiful and well kept and right next the creek. They also gave us insight into how we could hike around and get the best views. Staying here is a MUST!! Anyone would be lucky to not only stay in such a incredible location but also get Wendy and Hudson as their hosts. Will definitely be coming back as much as possible.
This site is in a really beautiful location with a river and waterfall backgrounding the camp. A great place to stop if you’re headed to Yosemite valley (only 1 hour 20 min drive away). Only thing we weren’t expecting is the toilet is a portable one, so it’s essentially a bucket and you need to dispose of the bag in septic after, that said it’s manageable, just a heads up for those who might not expect it. Wendy’s a really lovely host and came down to greet us and talk us through a few things. Would recommend!
