Camping adventure w/ 2 dogs 🐶
I loved this little hideaway spot in the woods. It really felt like a home away from home❤️ My husband and I brought our 2 dogs, they also fell in love with the place! Also Wendy and Hudson were wonderful hosts with helpful directions to get to the place. There was also a little creek on there property with another camping area that can be rented. Thank you again, Wendy and Hudson! We will definitely be coming back 😊
The cabin is so cute and just what we needed. We brought our own cooking stove and table and made dinner every night on the patio, then looked at stars on the massive rock next to the cabin. There was an accessible flushing toilet and shower. The host was extremely helpful in everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
This was such a perfect little cabin! Super comfortable and plenty of space for 2. A little over an hour to Yosemite Valley and about 5 min to Bass Lake. Would absolutely stay here again!
Quiet nature getaway!
A must stay!!! Our time spent at Wendy and Hudson’s getaway was relaxing and peaceful. The secluded cabin features a wonderful A/C unit, mini fridge, microwave and an insanely comfortable bed!! You don’t have to go anywhere to enjoy the beautiful nature, just walk down the road and find beautiful waterfalls, wading pools and rocks to explore. We honestly could have booked another day simply to explore the property however our plans were to visit Yosemite.
Wendy was accommodating and very helpful. The road to get to the location is narrow, windy, and steep but once you drive it once, you get used to it. Nothing to be afraid of, I was just surprised! The location is roughly an hour away from Yosemite but would account for an extra days stay to explore the grounds, you may regret it if you don’t (my wife and I sure did). Bring your own camping gear (stove, cooking supplies, etc.) to fully enjoy the space or visit the near by town and enjoy the local restaurant!
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here. It was quiet, beautiful, and the perfect getaway space for an elevated camping experience. We will most definitely be back the next time we are visiting Yosemite!! Thank you Wendy and Hudson!!
Hidden falls cabin
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Wendy and Hudson's (Hidden Falls Cabin). The cabin was pristine, comfortable and cozy. Directions to find property is accurate; and get this-there is cell signal in the area.
The falls is a bonus, my dog Marco and I had a good frolic out in the river and waterfalls. Another plus the town is about is <10 miles.
Thank you for sharing your property with me.
This is the perfect cozy, private landing spot for a trip to Yosemite! We loved the location of Wendy and Hudson's cabin and felt very comfortable there. The road to the cabin wasn't as bad as we expected based on some earlier reviews - my small hatchback handled it just fine.
