About the property
Welcome to Hidden Ranch, our adults retreat (infants are welcome with parents lol). We are LGBTQ friendly, and 420 recommended. We are on a 20-acre ranch next to Cleveland National Forest that sits at about 3,000 feet elevation and has views of Lake Elsinore and its city lights. The ranch is 100% off-grid with well water; wind- and solar-power generated. Campfires (propane-only) are allowed. This property also offers other listings – a glamping tent, a RV, and a tiny room.
The ranch is easily accessible from interstates 5 and 15. There are lots of natural attractions in Cleveland National Forest, such as Ortega Falls and the San Juan Loop Trail. There are countless hiking trails, off-roading, as well as mountain-biking trails and even hang-gliding launches. Food options and services can be found about 7 miles away in Lake Elsinore. Temecula Valley Wine Country and Pechanga Casino are about 45 minutes away; Dana Point Harbor and Glen Ivy Resorts are both 30 miles away. In addition to camping, the ranch also hosts spiritual gatherings, meditation., birthday party, wedding and music festivals ( burners) .
On 8/9/18 the property was struck by the Holy Fire. It burned the majority of the trees and shrubs, however the rains were good to us. We may not have large mature trees for shade, but the Ranch is more beautiful than ever. In the spring time it’s green beyond belief and the wildflowers are insane with vibrant yellows, orange and purple colors.

MAZEN WAS A-MAZING!
His warm vibe was so welcoming with each interaction with him. He was flexible & made sure we were good if we had any questions (eg: where to put our trash at the end of trip, etc).
We had plenty of space to put our food and cook our food. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We would definitely recommend to our loved ones!
THE VIEW IS
We all had the most relaxing 😎 & chill time. Thanks Mazen!!!
We stayed at Mazen's hillside retreat for my birthday weekend a couple weekends ago, and had such a blast! We ended up with 11 people in total, and Mazen was so wonderful the whole way through. We booked last minute, and he was able to accommodate us, and went out of his way to help us get set up, ensure we understood how to get everywhere, and even stopped by later in the night to bring us an extra propane tank and joined us for tacos! This property is unlike any I've camped on before - it has a truly spectacular view of Lake Elsinore - both the city lights and the lake. We got the spot with the geometric dome, which had enough space to set up two 4-person tents and one 2-person! We loved that the camp site was dog-friendly, allowed propane fires and had bathrooms (with flushing toilets and running water sinks!). The only downside was the wind, which we knew and were prepared for based on other reviews. It was very windy (nothing that can be controlled!), but I would 1,000% go back and camp there again. Highly recommend!
Absolutely phenomenal experience. LOVED every minute . Amazing views, well maintained site, bathrooms with running water, great people all around. Mazen is a great and friendly host and we're excited to come back!
The camping was truly an amazing experience. the site is amazing with a Great Lake view on the hill. The stay is very comfortable with having all the kind of facilities if you are looking for a comfortable camping
Best camping trip i've had in 15yrs
Mazen's Hidden Hill Ranch Hip Camp was an amazing camping trip. I don't even know where to begin. The view of Lake Elsinore from the mountain top alone is worth the price of admission. The camp grounds are spread throughout the property in a terrace style land scape. Each campground has its own perk whether it be isolated from others, some have higher ground, and others are closer to more home amenities like a bathroom and kitchen. We were fortunate to be the only ones camping for one day of our trip and had the campsite closer to the bathroom and communal kitchen. My friends who don't love camping as I do loved this trip so much and would come again. Mazen was a great host and always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great time.
The campsites are literally on the side of the mountain and much of the trees and brush were burned in 2018 but are slowly recovering. With that said please pay attention to wind advisories. If your brave enough to camp through wind stake down your tent, use your guy lines and have a quality tent. Forget that Walmart tent, it wont make it. T
This is not a place for small children. Although it is advertised an adult retreat my fear is actually them falling off the steep slopes of the mountain.
In Summary, I would come hear regularly. Its close to home whether your from SD, LA, OC. Mazen is the best and really perfected a place for camping for adults! P.S . The sunrises are worth waking up early for!
A couple must do!
Absolutely amazing views! Loves the special touches on each individual camp site. Mazen was a wonderful host who made us feel so comfortable! Wish I could keep this my little secret!
Lake elsinore dreams
This spot is everything! The view is unmatched, the access to trails is so convenient, and the bathrooms are luxurious (there’s even a bidet). Loved this spot and hospitality. Would definitely return!!
Camping with a breathtaking view!!
Great place for a weekend stay . Well maintained camp sites and a very welcoming host . Breathtaking views in the night . Highly recommend!!
