We stayed in the cabin. The heated mattress pads and warm rec room are the perfect touches to make your stay feel luxurious while still being in the woods. We love using the outdoor kitchen too!

This is such a lovely spot. Cabin 5 is handicap accessible which was great for my parents to be able to park close to the cabin and walk from their cabin to the bathroom on cement. There are so many thoughtful touches.

We absolutely loved Heartwood Mendocino! Serene, relaxing, quiet and absolutely beautiful. The campground is inviting with plenty of parking. The cabin was clean and the beds were very cozy. The night we stayed we had rain and were able to enjoy the sounds of the raindrops while cuddled up in our warm beds. The bathrooms which are right next door to cabin 5 are also very clean. In the morning we took a quick walk around the backside of the camp on a tree lined trail that offered gnome sightings. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a perfect get away ! Cabin 3 being so close to the tree shower made it the best way to start my day ! I loved every detail of the place and the sunshine that shined through . You must not miss the secret meadow !

This place is a treasure! In addition to the heated beds and redwood shower, we loved how well appointed the outdoor kitchen was with tools and serveware. The common room was also very comfortable and set up well for tea and coffee (byo coffee/tea). Also appreciate the included firewood and kindling for campfires. Location is great for easy access to Mendocino for meals or exploring, just mind that the road can be a little rough with potholes so take it slow. Khamoor was an excellent and responsive host, we’ll be back again!
