Don't have an RV or tent? No problem! Our turn-of-the-century cabins are originally from the Long Bell Railroad camps right here in Tionesta, CA. Although historic, they've evolved with interior updates, while maintaining their exterior look and feel. You'll love these wonderful Timber Mountain cabins.
The cabin is outfitted with two twin beds, a small kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink), a small table, bed linens, pillows & towels for the showers, a barbecue, and outdoor furniture for dining & relaxing.
Whether you're here for the awesome Northern CA fishing, hiking & hunting, or you just enjoy relaxing among the pines, you'll love our historic cabins. We had so much fun in our little cozy cabin, and used it as a base to explore the Caves and the beautiful area surrounding Hawks Nest. We had originally planned to camp, but there was snow (surprise!) and Pam was gracious enough to let us cancel the campsite and upgrade to the cabin. No stores for miles around, so we were glad we brought everything we needed. The bathrooms were super clean, heated 24/7 and had great showers. My only suggestion would be to add a few more hooks or shelves to accommodate jackets, towels, keys etc.
