This Dome is about a 1-2 minute walk from the yurt and tent site, also the parking area. You are completely secluded in your area, but can walk to the common area for the kitchen, fire pit, and tables. you can book the fire burning hot tub, and enjoy a beautiful waterfall that is on our private property!the waterfall is a 30 minute hike from the Glamping ground. If you wish to come with friends they can book another Glamping site of their choice not far from you on the property, however you can only add 2 additional guests per one camp site. call/text about one night bookings on week nights, or with any additional questions or requests you may have. Keep in mind that The drive down is a mountainous, narrow, rustic dirt road with sharp steep turns and bumps, high clearance vehicles are recommended, and all-wheel-drive/four-wheel-drive vehicles are preferred but not necessary. For example Teslas have no problem, but RVs, trailers, or large/long sprinter vans are not equipped for this road.

We loved the Hermit Dome so much!! It was private and comfortable. The hike to the waterfall was fun and swimming in the waterhole was AMAZING!! The private outdoor shower was great! - The dirt road to the campsite was a bit scary, just take your time and go slow.
Had the best close to home get away with best friend and new rescue dog. Was able eat lunch in SB/collect wine and take a 20 min trip to what felt like a real remote camp site.
You def need a 4x4 or AWD, don’t chance it otherwise. I’m afraid of heights so the road was a little scary for me. Luckily my friend is a great driver.
The camp site was empty when we got there, so I was able to check out other camp site. Dome 4 is most remote. However does have a cliff so if bringing toddlers/kids maybe book other sites.
The bed was a DREAM. I loved the sound of nature and stream. The hammocks are great place to nap. I recommend booking entire camp site to maximize the fun. The hike was a little confusing. The path was narrow and not good for kids/old dogs. So we aborted. However I think we were maybe suppose to hike down to stream….
The next day we drive to Los Olivos.
Such a peaceful experience! They really put a lot of thought into each and every site! It was so nice to be able to have the camping experience but have everything ready and set up for us, and also have hot water! The private waterfall was really amazing definitely worth hiking through the river!
The land was beautiful. I was very grateful for all of the amenities including the shower, stove, cook wear and more. The host was super sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend a four wheel drive car, only because the dirt road up is a little ruff. Other then that I absolutely loved my stay at the hermit dome!
Great setup with hot showers at each campsite, individual cooking areas, and lots of comfy hammocks. Tire swings and stage in the common area would make it a great place for families with kids.

Omg! This was so much fun. My husband and I honestly had a blast. I will defiantly be coming back and renting out the entire campsite with friends. It was our first time using hipcamp and it was amazing! 100/10
We had an amazing time at hermit dome 4! Everything you need is provided. There’s a kitchen with running water outside the dome. Private hot shower. Private hammock. We fell asleep to the sound of the creek while looking up to clear view of the skies. The tarp that covers the dome comes off and I suggest you do that at night. There’s also a bigger kitchen in the common area. Wood-burning hot tub was a must! We should have done it for both nights. The drive there and getting out wasn’t so bad. Felt sketchy at first but it really wasn’t bad. We had a Honda hr-v. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely come back to this camp!
