A propane fire pit. and space for you to set up another small tent if you wish to have two more guests, or a tent is provided and set up by me if you add the extra tent option for $70. This is a beach like experience with a sandy bottom and a nice Creek entrance to play in the water. This spot is great for couples that want to get away from the city, or a family with kids that want to experience camping! There are big rocks, year round bubbling creek, beautiful but rugged trails along the Maria Ygnacio creek to be hiked by experienced hikers, this is one of Santa Barbara’s hidden secrets Angelina falls with swimming hole, and tanning rock. Propane fire pit. Propane stove. If you want to camp in your van/truck you can do that in the parking area, Close to the campsite. The roads coming down to the camp sight are dirt surface, mountainous roads that require confident and experienced drivers. So we only allow a normal sized car, van or truck no motorhomes, RVs, or trailers! Natural fire burning hot tub available and freshly filled daily. When you get to the address you will see mailboxes, go down the drive way and you will see the first hipcamp sign, white with yellow. Follow the signs all the way down to the campground this road is long and will bring you all the way to the bottom of the canyon about 7 minutes from the top. Make sure to park appropriately once you reach the parking area. You will see parking spots. We do have poison oak around the area , so be cautious. Wine tasing is near, just over the mountain, beaches in in Santa Barbara about 15 minute drive, Indian caves filled with paintings from the Chumash Indians of Santa Barbara. Cold springs tavern an old historical stage coast stop with music and BBQ on the weekends. This space is great for a camping birthday experience, ( no loud music) also great for families to bring their kids, group bonding, team building, wilderness clubs, or an adventures group of friends! . Loved our site on Harmony’s property!!! It was secluded and beautiful and had everything we needed! The creek is beautiful, and we made the hike out to the swimming hole (requires scrambling and crossing the creek several times) and WOW! We will totally be coming back.

Of note: the drive down into the property is very uneven, rocky, and narrow, I definitely wouldn’t bring a sedan down there and am happy we had our Forester. Just fyi to those looking to go!

This place is paradise! If you love nature this is the place! The tent is gorgeous, beds, pillows and linen very comfortable and the ammenities you find there are an extra touch of care. The site is amazing with the river as your backyard where the fire pit is located. Hot shower by the tree is just charming. Gas stove and table for cooking is awesome! Very spacious site with lights charged by a solar panel makes the nights very cozy but you must have your own lights if you stay up late to enjoy as they dont last long. The hot tub is a must after days going up and down to the waterfall which is a hidden gem! We went everyday! The trail is beautiful, just 30 minutes, perfect for my kids 6, 9 and 11. Its not the easiest but nor hard at all. Lots of wildlife to see, nothing to fear. If you want perfect gardens, go to Disney. This is true nature, untouched and preserved! Thank you so much Harmony for sharing this peace of heaven with us!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we are so fortunate to have experienced Harmony's place. It's a gem of a destination, 15 mins from Santa Barbara but so remote that reception at the campsite was almost non-existent. You do drive a dirt road to access the site and need high clearance but it's manageable if you drive slowly. The set up is private if you want it to be or shared works too. There is everything that you need minus food, plates, and cutlery. There are port-o-pottys close to the sites. Next time I want to stay in the dome!!!
Inside the tent, the bed is raised off the floor, comfortable and the interior was so spacious. We had an amazing nights sleep listening to the frogs by the flowing creek. There is a private cooking area at this site but there is also a large cooking space for larger groups with a larger grill. The whole site has access to potable water from a spring and we even had hot water for our outdoor shower.
The hike to the waterfall was about 30mins but there are some rock scrambles. The reward is this epic 12ft deep swimming hole with a lovely waterfall. We spent a few hours there and our doggies even enjoyed the hike! Thoughtfully the tent had the basics, coffee mugs, tea, Clorox wipes, lotion and bug spray.
The last night we were there a rainstorm was passing through and Harmony was kind enough to come to warn us and gave us the option to check out earlier. All in all an amazing experience and we can't wait to return.

Harmony’s creek side camping is delightful! She has made the tent and yurt (we stayed in both) up to be very nice, clean and comfortable. The layout of her campground in her land is nicely laid out and organized. The outdoor stove, shower and wood fired hot tub worked perfectly for my girlfriend and I. We highly recommend the hot tub and creek cold plunge. We will be returning the next time we are in Santa Barbara!

Side note: we did not find the road, although steep, to be any issue for our mid sized automobile. It was totally worth it.

Had a great time staying at Harmony’s place! Tent was peacefully situated near the river. You park above, on the hill, then walk down to your site. The sound of the river is wonderful. I love soaking in the warm, fire heated tub in the evening - highly recommend. My dog also had a wonderful time, and became friends with Django, the neighborhood dog. Django was a sweetheart! Spoke with Harmony a couple of times, and she’s delightful. Really appreciate the amenities like coffee, a teapot, and other cooking supplies. You’ll drive on a single car, dirt road to get to your site, so highly recommend coming in when it’s light. If it rains you may need 4-wheel drive, though it was dry when I visited and made it down in my van.

Enjoyed coffee in bed. View from the tent at Site #1. The fire heated tub was wonderful. Tess and Django were competing for my love. It was fantastic.

Well appointed sites and delightful host. Luxurious yurt and tent, plenty of LP for gas stove and fire pit, and family friendly hike. Our kids (3 - 9yo) enjoyed the tire swing and hammocks. The drive down is not for the faint-of-heart but more than likely doable, just leave your trailers and RVs at home (seriously)!
