Todd's place was pretty. I was unable to enjoy the actual Yurt due to my Service Dog- The land itself is right next to main road so there is noise from cars. It was not a good experience due to the owner being very particular in the area we parked, how many cars or babies on sight...
We never meet the owner, but he was texting a lot of small requests during the stay and I felt he was watching me in one way or another. You can tell he took care of his land, but I would not go back.
¡solo trip to esco!
Todd was a sweet guy with a creative touch. His attention to detail is great and overall, makes you feel welcomed. The yurt was comfy and roadside. Light sleepers should use white noise and/or earplugs. I would rebook and recommend to others!
10/10 glamping experience. The host (Todd) has put so much care into all the little details. Everything down to the dinnerware and seating cushions is top-notch. The yurt has got a rad Moroccan vibe inside, plenty of cushions to get comfy while lounging. The area is secluded, so you’ll be able to feel like you have your own private section of the property.
There’s a wonderful dining area down there with a custom redwood bar with all of Todd’s recommended wines thoughtfully lined up at the bar. There’s also a grill, dining table, and comfy chairs perfect for a leisurely dinner with a couple of bottles of wine.
There are so many peaceful nooks to hang out around the property, hammocks hanging in the shade, and a romantic dining table overlooking the valley. Also, be sure to check out the outdoor shower next to Todd’s house. I definitely recommend coming to check this place out!
This place is great. The host, Todd was gentle and very helpful. He came over to show things around and help answer any questions we had and made our stay very comfortable. The Yurt is very nice with beautiful pillows and nice kitchen with grill and table to eat out. The SHOWERS are the best part. Our baby loved the showers. It was out doors but tucked in to a nice tree with flower wines around us. we had great time at this place.
Awesome stay! Todd is super friendly and inviting, and the yurt itself is very clean and well kept. Amenities for the yurt and site are very well thought out and Todd thought of everything to keep you comfortable and have an awesome trip, would stay again 100%!
Moroccan themed glamping bliss
My husband and I had a great time during our recent stay! This Moroccan themed yurt offers a cosy, romantic glamping experience.
There is electricity inside the yurt to allow for light, a nice fan and a phone charging station. The kitchen counter is brand new, made out of gorgeous redwood with wine bottles that the owner recommends from locally wineries if you are interested. There is an outside table to enjoy seating at while eating your meals and a working grill. There is also running water close by the yurt you can access.
The property owner, a very kind man, also lives on the property and there are a couple of different setups for other visitors. Yet, there is plenty of privacy.
The property offers gorgeous desert landscape. It is obvious how much Todd, the owner, cares for his land. It is as if the whole property is a tender garden.
One of our favorite pieces of the property was the outdoor, custom tree shower that offers warm water and excellent water pressure. You can shower outside while enjoying nature. I suggest bringing a swimsuit if you are more private naturally. It is a bit of a hike up to the property to get to the shower so bring tennis shoes or good fitting water shoes.
We spoke to Todd just after booking before we traveled to the yurt and he confirmed that we were okay to bring our two well-behaved, mid-sized dogs. Upon arrival, Todd greeted us and gave us the details of the land. He was very kind with our dogs. We made sure to keep them outside the yurt, they enjoyed the property as well and stayed close by.
We’d recommend this neat, unique experience.
