Leila is an amazing host. This campground is AWESOME!! It was clean, well laid out and private. Beautiful views of the trees and mountains all around us. It truly is a spiritual retreat.
Leila drove me around to give me a tour which included the farm, fields and creek. She surprised us with some of her organic homegrown greens from her garden which was the best lettuce I have ever had. Farm to my tent in about 1 hour.
I fed the baby goats and they were so much fun to hold and pet. There was wildlife Everywhere! I saw deer, turkeys, a fox and heard coyotes at nite. It is a wildlife sanctuary!
I will Definitely be returning!

Leila was very welcoming and generous. She has set up a nice campground in a quiet and shaded place. There is running water and a sink as well as clean outhouses. When fire closed our intended campground at Bucks Lake we were glad to find Leila's place. The drive to Antelope Lake takes about 40 minutes.

It is awful about the fires!! We were blessed again, and untouched. I took in evacuees and their animals, cleared a bit of land with them, cooked for them, and laughed and cried with them. We are out of mandatory evacuation and I am exhausted!! Thank you for the lovely review! I hope and pray your family, home, friends and loved ones are safe!!
