Joshua Tree is a special place in the desert. After searching for years for a homestead cabin found this one and it is the perfect one. Learn more about this land: You will be staying in this 1950's homestead cabin and original 50's trailer which are surrounded by gorgeous desert landscapes. The property, on 5+ acres is surrounded by an additional 15 acres of BLM land. This creates an amazing opportunity to feel the desert, see the stars and unplug from city life. While maintaining the original feeling of the homestead a few things have been added for convenience: AC is wonderful in the summer, a ceramic heater for winter nights. Regardless the season, you will enjoy the striking desert batik outdoor shower.The cabin has one full size bed, that second as couch during the day and sleeps two people comfortably. The cabin has a bed that is called a short double. It will sleep one small adult or two children comfortably. Gemini Homestead Cabin

Beautiful area once we got there. Directions were mostly correct but a road was closed that the host was unaware of so we had to find our own way around. Google maps is unreliable so it was tricky. Not sure if it was a hipcamp issue but I had to call to confirm our stay on the day of because host hadn't seen our messages. A/C worked well in the cabin, nice kitchen set up. Trailer had only a fan so it was hot. Outdoor shower was cool. Very private site. Amazing sunrise sunset and stars!

Great experience!

Great host, lovely place. Perfect for glamping. The area was close in a great location, close to nearby shops and food and to the National park.
