Once you arrive the views are amazing, the wildlife even better, and the seclusion is the best! Jake Lake named after our Nephling ( nephew ) is a bird watching paradise which is why this is a NO DOG campsite. It is recommended you bring ground cloth and a rain fly as late summer thunderstorms are a real possibility. You cross a little foot bridge thorough a stand of thick willow before arriving at an uncrowded private lakeside delight.

Wendy and her partner were amazing hosts! They were warm and welcoming. They even gave us some homemade apricot jam when we arrived! Highly recommend staying here.
The directions were great form Wendy our wonderful hostess. However, it can be tricky.
Upon arriving at the guest call area we contacted Wendy our host. She arrived within minutes from letting her know we arrived at parking. Easy for any vehicle to drive and park. Wendy the took all our families gear by quad 4x4 to our site. No carrying heavy gear. Site was next to small wildlife area with water and cool beaver activity. Lots to see very quiet peaceful. Has fire pit, benches, wood, picnic tables and potable water tho it’s a 100yd walk as well to usable compatible outhouse. It’s kept beautiful by all carrying in and carrying everything out. There was no trash at all on site! Clean and people free. Wilderness to forestry land is very close.
Are family had a great time. Although the teenage 16 yr old twins were pissed that there was no cell. Too bad kids.
I recommend this books highly and want to thank our host Wendy
Wendy was an awesome host with a very thoughtful approach to her space. I love the fact that I was on a functional and evolving organic farm and had a chance to have that experience with a gracious and receptive host. I can see that she has put work into making the experience memorable and offer more than just a lot to camp out of. Would definitely love to come back to this place some time!
The camp host greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly. She explained everything, answered all our questions, and even gave us extra info about the working farm. The farm is beautiful with ponds and has a resident Llama who was adorable and friendly! Our campsite was secluded and included a picnic table and fire ring with wood. We purchased the farm fresh eggs too! There's an outhouse with a little bit of a walk to get to. Our host encouraged us to explore the property and visit the animals. It was a wonderful experience!
