When you come to camp here you are on a working farm in transition. Girlfarm has been a local food go to for restaurants, farm family members, and regenerative agriculture interests. Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes. If you would like a list of grass fed meats available, veggies, or herbs just text your host before arrival. We are looking for a seasonal self contained camper who we could offer trade for camp care - text host directly. Its been a huge water season so skeeters are around we also recommend tents have a rain fly and ground cloth. Welcome It was important to choose a partner like Hipcamp to invite like minded individuals who respect both the natural environment and the idea of less is more. At any time you may encounter farming activities, building out of tiny houses for future bookings, or gardens in the process of creation. As we move toward offering the land as a place to both find solitude or chosen participation our Flyte and Sparrow experience will hopefully be a place you will want to return to as your own tradition.

This land is something special and the host is even better. As a queer, female solo traveler I am extra cautious about where to stay and this place is a wonderful refuge for those looking for beauty, safety and solitude.

Overnighter/Late Arrival Camp
Very peaceful and private. She claimed it was pretty no frills, but it was everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the propane fireplace.

Overnighter Tent site #2
Wendy was such a kind host, her place is so quiet and peaceful. I felt very safe and secure and had everything I needed for my stay, she even had produce available for purchase. I highly recommend staying there.

EXCELLENT SPOT ANN STOP
Wendy was such a lovely host with an incredible spot on her land. We weren’t able to stay long but hopefully back to mountain bike and explore the surrounding area. Fall is just beautiful and so were the fresh eggs. Her spot is not far off of Hyw 395 but you felt miles away. The solitude and stars are so inviting!!

Overnighter/Late Arrival Camp
I stayed at Wendy's on a trip from Oregon Coast to the California desert. It was the halfway point and just north of Reno. I used the late arrival site and it was perfect for my needs as a safe place to pull off and catch some zzzzs for the night. About 3 miles off Hwy 395. Quiet, private, and beautiful views of high desert hills, sages and grasses. Rustic sites. Mown sages and grasses with a firepit and a potty bucket. I was there for a full moon and the amount of sky is amazing. Moon was coming up as the sun was going down. I will use this place again and I think you should stay here too.

The land is stunning and cared for. The campsites are thoughtfully placed to encourage privacy and peace. This is a place for writers and artists and those tender hearts seeking refuge. The host is gracious, knowledgeable, and kind. I will be back.
