My daughter & I loved Gail's land and cabin -- simple, comfortable, and cozy! We had visited Noah Purifoy's outdoor exhibition earlier the day we arrived, and it was nice to see a bit of assemblage as we drove in, and the obvious artistic touches -- especially the hundreds of figurines and sandbox in the cabin! Will definitely be back,
Thanks, Paul & August Barringer
Gorgeous mountain views
Gail’s cabin was more than we could have hoped for! The view from the front window was beautiful from sunrise to sunset. The solar energy powered the fridge and lights when we needed it. Thankfully the weather was perfect so we had no issues with being too cold or too hot, but there was a ceiling fan, air cooler and pellet stove if needed. The fridge is big enough to hold some groceries for using the grill, next time we will definitely do that! The location is great, not too far from Joshua Tree if you’re looking to visit the park, but far enough away you feel secluded from crowds. We loved meeting the horses! Make sure to ask to see them. Overall, we would love to come back again! Thanks for everything.
Heartfelt touches. homey and fun.
Wonderful stay. Cute place. The basics are covered with charm and flair. Peaceful. Easy. Long drive off main road is pretty rough but my regular car did ok going very slow.
Therapy for the soul
When one yearns for solitude, peace and to destress from city life searching for sunsets and Sunrises this is where you should come. The animals here at the homestead were a joy as I love animals. Gail , was so welcoming and made our stay a fabulous one. The little touches in the homestead was so cozy. A little more than I expected yet embraced it all.
If you'd like a momento to take home from your visit there are items available to purchase which I loved the most. Most definitely will be coming back for more regular stays.
We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful cabin, hanging out with the sweet horses and watching the full moon rise. We colored, grilled for dinner, searched for wildlife on the property, and watched the sheep graze. The cabin was perfect and cozy, and Gail was wonderful to meet. She even let my kids feed the horses treats. I highly recommend staying here.
