We are limiting reservations for a while because we found out that while we have liability insurance for Hipcamp we need to change carriers. This is a set back for us just when we’re getting started, but it’s the Field of Dreams after all and we’ll carry on. We are limiting reservations for a while because we found out that while we have liability insurance for Hipcamp we need to change carriers. This is a set back for us just when we’re getting started, but it’s the Field of Dreams after all and we’ll carry on. We are continuing to honor already made reservations and requesting signed liability waivers from those guests for now. Sorry for any inconvenience. Welcome to the Field of Dreams - a very private, but open meadow in a beautiful setting with views all around. We can only accept self-contained camper vans. ————————————— - We travel in our camper van too, so we know that a private spot to camp, while desirable can be hard to find. We offer you that experience here. Only one reservation at a time is accepted for the entire property, so the Field of Dreams will be yours alone to enjoy. A private gated entrance provides easy in and out, but the camping area is not in sight of the road. Our meadow offers a choice of easily accessible and level parking spots and after you are settled in we think you’ll find this is a good place to relax and hang out. ——————————————— But of course, there is a lot to do in the area: We are 5 minutes from the picturesque town of Tomales on Hwy. 1 with the bakery, bar, deli and old-time general store. We are also close to wide, sandy Dillon Beach, as well as Tomales Bay with Hog Island Oysters, Tony’s Seafood and Nick’s cove. Nearby to the south is Point Reyes Station a lively small town adjacent to Point Reyes National Seashore (miles and miles of hiking there), and to the north is Bodega Bay where you will find close-up views of crashing waves from numerous over looks, walkable beaches, restaurants, and more opportunities for coastal hiking. —————————— Biking! 🚴‍♂️ Bicyclists come to this area from all over to ride these local roads. You can pedal from your campsite to Dillon Beach and Valley Ford or beyond over lightly travelled backroads. Bring your bikes! ————————— Sorry, no trailers or tents. Only self contained vans will be accepted and no campers longer than 24’. The unpaved drive in is steep with a curve. The loose gravel has good traction for camper vans, but NOT for trailers. We thank you for your understanding. We look forward to hosting you and your camper van! —————————- PLEASE READ THIS: There are NO toilets here for campers. Because of the absence of toilets here for campers, we will only accept self contained type vans. We look forward to hosting you soon here at the Field of Dreams.

The site is very private with wonderful views of farm pasture and distant hills. South facing so plenty of sunlight all day. The drive in is steep and gravel but it is very short and most smaller rigs will have no problem. The turn around area is very large. There was road noise during the afternoon but the overnight was very quiet. It was a holiday weekend so more traffic than usual. The property has no real walks or exploring, there is a very nice walk up Twin Bridge Road but the site is a tiny bit isolated for exploring on foot. Jerry is super nice.

Not too steep and an easy drive in and out.Plenty of sun and privacy.Bring your hammock!

We just stayed two nights at Jerry’s very private meadow. Of course as it happens with camping there was a Gail advisory along the coast! But it was still fun and there was a wonderful and protected viewing space on top of the hilltop. We watched the full moon rise and enjoyed a view over grassy hills..
I am looking forward to returning Jerry was a wonderful And communicative host.
We had tons of privacy and enjoyed all the aesthetically pleasing touches.
It was a short drive to Tomales where there’s a wonderful bakery and and then On to the beach.

I’m glad you still had a good time here. March, in like a lion will give way to April’s lamb soon. In fact, today is lovely as I sit at the campsite composing this. You are welcome back anytime. Jerry

This site was beautiful! We arrived late and after dark but Jerry texted us clear directions and it was very easy to find the place. Great stars and super beautiful to wake up to the green hills. Very private and a great jumping-off point for many day trips. We only stayed one night but would've loved to be there longer! We were able to meet Jerry and he was very friendly and told us about the different interesting artifacts that were around the site.
