Enjoy a fully furnished 10x10 Kodiak Canvas tent, nestled in an old growth azalea grove and surrounded by huge spruce trees (sleeps 2). Comfy queen bed with sheets, pillows, and down comforter, side table with light, rugs, power strip. Tent has spacious 6'6" ceiling. Outside is a picnic table, potable water jug, non-potable water hose (for dishes, hand washing), a small lantern, a trash bag, a sponge/dishpan/soap, and a few dish towels, and space for one additional tent. Guests should bring additional tents/sleeping gear (if more than 2 people), camping stove/kitchen supplies, flashlights, lots of warm clothes. Tent is about 50 yards walk from parking spot on flat dirt path (one reasonably sized car/truck only, no sleeping in vehicle!). Guests have access to a small portion of the property, but there's plenty of privacy.

An enjoyable stay at Azalea Camp. The tent is tucked away in a verdant pocket with good privacy. My stay was during a rainy weekend, so I didn't get to utilize the picnic table, but the inside of the tent stayed dry the whole weekend. The mattress was large enough to accommodate my 6'3" frame without my feet hanging over. Mattress and comforter kept me warm throughout the chilly night. Though there is some lighting between parking and the tent, a flashlight is recommended as the footpath gets a bit dark in places at night.

Perfect Pit Stop!

Glamping in the azaleas was amazing. We arrived late at night and in the pouring rain, but it was still easy to see the signs for parking and getting to the tent site (the well house from the directions is NOT the shed you see at the top of the driveway 😅). Even with all the recent rain and active rain while we were there, the tent felt clean and acceptably dry. Of course you are in a rain forest, it can get quite damp but Rosie was great to give us a heads up on tips to keep things dry. The outhouse was very cool and one of the best camping toilet experiences I have had! Gorgeous view to the forest. All in all the spot had everything we needed for a quick nights rest, including privacy. I would absolutely stay here again!
