Excellent location. Super private. Super clean. The extra’s like bread and bone broth were excellent and totally hit the spot.
This is our second time at Guido and Emily's campsites (the first was at the adjacent Egret's Nest site), and it was as lovely and peaceful as ever. Quiet and private and w/ plenty of space for our tiny small van and a friend's tent (and her car also). We'll look forward to coming back again!
Stayed here before going on a 25 mile hike in point Reyes. Don’t be surprised if you hear a bunch of noises coming from the creek. Turns out around 10 pm, all the fish are feeding. Overall it was a pretty magical spot
Beautiful area! So peaceful and quiet. The meat from their farm stand was so amazingly tasty, we barely seasoned it and it was delicious. We happened to visit on a windy night - there were no trees or protection from the wind but we put our tent under a shade shelter we use at the beach and were nice and cozy. Also be aware that cell reception is spotty in the surrounding area. Overall, a great getaway from the city.
Loved our stay here! It was our first time camping on grassland, and to me the mowed grass felt INCREDIBLY clean?? And there were very few bugs (little roly poly boys in the grass and we saw like one wasp and a few bees, but that's it). It would be a dream spot for someone who doesn't usually like camping hahah.
I also really enjoyed picking blackberries off the brambles at the edges of the site. We didn't bring a kayak, and the water was a little too gross to enjoy in any other way, but I be it would be soooo nice to bring your boat and paddle down the estero :)
The toilet was also nicer than I was expecting for a compost toilet (though it did get full toward the end and I couldn't figure out how to change it).
Perfect campsite. Quiet, peaceful and private. I forgot to get the bread that I ordered though 😑
Reception with ATT is spotty but available at times. Great place to refresh and be still.
Will come back again!
We had a wonderful time canoeing and camping on your lovely property! Thank you. Loved the farm stand and the cattle views at sunrise 🙂
Couldn’t have asked for more for our one night stay heading up the coast. The site was clean, quiet and full of plant and wildlife views all around. We ordered the steak package, eggs and focaccia. It was all excellent. I wish i purchased a second focaccia for the rest of the trip.
