This was an amazing place. My wife and I went here for a quiet valentine's camping trip. The site was beautiful and lovely. Quiet and scenic. Eric gave us good directions on how to get to the place. I would highly recommend the top spot if you are able to get there. The top location even has a picnic table or two. The drive to the top can be a bit difficult, but manageable nonetheless. Great communication with Eric overall.
What a gem!! My dog Navi and I really had a wonderful time camping in this tucked away canyon. Waking up to the views at the top was seriously gorgeous and the canyon trail has so many adventures to offer. Eric was attentive and sweet getting us out there. I think I may be a regular here :D
Quick heads up, We drove from Long Beach and when we looked up the general location before confirming the booking our drive said 1 hour 15 minutes. After confirming the booking, the exact address was 2 hours 45 minutes... BIG difference as drive time was a large factor for me for this particular escape.
So, plan on some extra drive time. But in my opinion it was worth every second.
Thanks again for the tiny slice of peace and paradise. <3
A beautiful and peaceful spot! There's very little cell service, so make sure you have the gate combination and all your directions before you arrive, but it's not difficult to find. The canyon is mostly private property, so there's not much exploring to be done in the immediate area, but Joshua Tree is close and there are other locations of interest nearby. Great sunrises!
The area was nice and secluded and the top pad had great views of the canyon. The drive to the top wasn't too bad at all and we were able to reach it there with a regular sedan. There was no light pollution so the stars were really bright at night. There's also two picnic tables near the top, which was extremely convienent. Overall, a beautiful and quiet site!
Peace and views, stars and relaxat.
This was one of our favourite camping spots. The top site was perfect- such a peaceful spot with a great view. The host was really nice and answered any questions. There were 3 of us - with 2 tents, a 4-wheel drive truck, and a campfire - and so much space. The picnic tables were also appreciated. Highly recommend for a getaway weekend.
