Get the local feel
We did not end up staying in the yert at the garden, but a different yert down by the river. It was beautiful and the sound of the river was so peaceful. The host gave great recommendations on activities, local watering holes and food. 100% would recommend.
Relaxing bell tent by the river
Easy check-in process and super convenient location next to 101 and steps away from the Eel River. Lovely Bell tent - perfect for our quick stop. The open shower looked awesome- but unfortunately forgot my swimsuit (I'll blame pregnancy brain). Bug spray was a must but to be expected so close to the river.
Host greeted us at arrival and was very friendly- dogs onsite instantly fell in love with my husband. We had no service (T-mobile) at this location and I forgot to ask about WiFi (my bad). Overall would consider staying again!
The smaller bell tent was nestled back away from the road. So quiet. You could hear the river in the background and very little traffic noise. The land is gorgeous. The yurt was clean and cozy. The host Season was super friendly and accommodating and gave a great recommendation for a sweet swim spot a short drive away. I’d totally go back again!
This was a new experience for me and it was very fun. Season was an excellent host! Her dog was equally as welcoming and sweet. The location was perfect for us to discover the Redwoods. Season was helpful recommending restaurants and places to explore.
The first night in the Deluxe tent was a bit too cold for me but then we realized it works best when you have the “ceiling fan” on while the heater is on and it was much warmer.
Camping on a farm!
I loved tent camping in Season’s beautiful bell tent (complete with electricity and comfy queen beds and a couch, desk!). The outside shower looking out onto the river was a bonus. Run, don’t walk to stay at Five Sisters.
