Come and pitch your tent on our upper lot tacked away, while enjoying some idyllic, beautiful vistas into the forest, mountaintops and across the desert.

Due to the Corona Virus we adjusted our camp to two camp sites only, which are about 60 feet apart in Camp Wild. The camp sites have a small table. Please bring your own chairs. Restroom facility offers a flush toilet, with cold water running for washing hands.

Camp Fire; New regulations for campfire: Our fear as ranch owner is very regular the outbreak of a fire.

Over the years we had to evacuate twice our animals, due to a raging fire approaching our land. While we got lucky and our great fire department was able to safe the ranch, some of our neighbors got hit and lost everything.

As we know that camping with no fire, is no camping, we have decided to allow all our campers the use of a propane fire pit, which is safe in our forest and all kinds off weather situations, like wind, or heat or of fire season. You can purchase those at Walmart, Homedepot or Campingworld. They usually ran with a 5 gallon tank, and you can run them all day long if you wish.

Cooking if you wish on a camping stove, or barbecue is off course also acceptable.

Our very busy wild life( mostly quail, blue jays, bunny, and lizards) from our surrounding forest will keep you company. There is a trail head located just 50 feet from camp. The ranch offer's a shorter hike on our three mile long, idyllic single track horse trails.  This route is covered with breathtaking views up in to the mountains, miles and miles away, and across the desert. If you are a pro in hiking, a very challenging 6 mile loop which leads you on to the mountaintop and back, will not leave disappointed.

Dogs are not allowed at this time, we have three our selfs, one of them is very playful, and really can get at times a bit to happy and intense to play maybe with yours.

Activities: We can offer pony rides, and horse rides. We have horses in all sizes.

For guests looking for exploring the forest, but rather not want to go out for a hike, renting an ATV bike / Quad would be maybe an option touring the forest.

Not only offers the ranch great hiking opportunities, please keep in mind the Pacific Crest Trail runs behind and above our backyard. We can point out which way is a trail head located. If we are not booked advanced horseback riding for seasoned, accomplished equestrians is also possible( extra charge). Beginner Riders would need to make arrangements before arrival, so we can plan on this adventure. Since we are booked very well, we need at least a one week advanced notice.

Nice place to spend a night or 2. Not much hiking within walking distance - lots of red ants and insects. Bathroom was really nice but probably won’t return. Not secluded enough and not a whole lot to do. We did not do atv or horseback riding which seemed to be a very popular activity the host offered to campers or just people passing by.

It was a pleasure to stay here! Campsite was clean, views were gorgeous, and I would definitely stay here again. Sites were close together, but Daniela does well in making sure social distancing is maintained. Don't forget bug spray!

Daniela was a wonderful host! She was kind enough to stay up until 10:45pm to wait for us and guide us to our spot! And she came by on horseback the next morning to check on us.

Snagging a last minute reservation to Daniela’s camp spots for the holiday weekend was great!! The sites were accessible by walking up a small dirt ramp from the parking area. My group reserved campsite #1 & #2 to allow for more area to set up and personal space. It had wooden platforms to set up tents easily off the ground and had tables for cooking. The large restroom shed was about a 2 minute walk down a small dirt path, and is kept very clean. The campsites overlook a beautiful foothill view and you feel secluded for the most part. The sites are right near several hiking trails. Daniela was sweet and greeted us after arrival and checked in with us another time to make sure we were good. She even let us pull a car closer to the camp spot so our friends could car-camp sleep closer to our tent. Overall great find for a simple weekend of camping with friends. Just bring lots of water and shade because it’s hot up there in the summer!!!

My family had a blast on Daniela's ranch. She was great at communication and setting safety guidelines. I was there with my 2 kids and we loved seeing and interacting with the animals. We felt very safe exploring her property. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrise. (And the bathroom was great)

We had the place to ourselves and it was wonderful! Beautiful views, great access to the Pacific Crest Trail, and very well-kept campsites. Daniela was super nice and helpful. It was buggy during the day, but that's summer camping almost anywhere. Totally fine after the sun went down, and great stargazing. Bathroom was very clean. We also loved meeting the property's very polite and friendly dogs :)

What a truly great spot! This was only an hour out of LA and a great little getaway to the mountains. There was plenty of beautiful hiking and scenery, the property is quite large and easy to just carve out your own time away from other people. Because it is close to LA I'm sure it gets booked a lot as we had two other neighbors the entire time. The sites are a little close to each other for my taste, especially surprising because of the amount of land that is available up there, but we were definitely warned about it ahead of time. Daniela was a fantastic host and greeted us a few hours after we had set up. We felt safe and secure the entire time and didn't have any issues arise. The restroom was great and easy to find/use. It was windy at night considering it was early June, but we came prepared for the cold at night. No fires is a bummer, but the propane tank fire pit was a great consolation. It will be a great place to visit again!

Daniela was a great hostess - she introduced us to her friendly horses, goats, dogs and other animals. She showed us some hiking trails on her property and we were able to scramble up ~2 miles to the PCT (though it was steep and challenging in spots).
There was one other group camping next to us, but there was enough space for both groups to have some privacy.
Excellent sunset views and terrain. Windy and chilly at night, we were happy we brought a propane fire pit. Toilet and sink were clean, all in all a good value.
