The Dome Asylum Punkin Lounge was a lovely place to camp for the weekend. Its in a very calm, laid back area and you can see the stars. Dawn was so nice with check in and showed us the whole property. We even gote late (due to traffic) and she was so nice about check in. Parking is next to the camp site. There are shaded areas and a place for a campfire (for enjoyment, wouldnt work well for cooking). The pool is pleasant too and the chickens are pleasant to watch as they wander around the yard. They did not come into our camp area though - mostly stayed near the hydroponic garden. Overall, wed come back for a longer weekend and to explore the area.
We were so happy with the Dome Asylum! Dawn was an amazing host, and we were close enough to town and friends’ homes, location was perfect. Bummed we didn’t enjoy the natural pool, but it was relaxing for my bf to get some homework done!
Returning campers. Dawn is a great communicator. Love the chill vibe. Someday I’ll actually immerse myself fully in the green pool but at least I dangled my feet in it this time - very refreshing! Looking forward to post-Covid hanging around the pool with others enjoying the bbq grill and fire-sculptures. Only bummer: the incredibly gorgeous roosters who can’t tell time and crow occasionally in the middle of the night - bring earplugs.
We stayed with our 5 years old for one night and we loved this place. Dawn was there to greet us and show us around. It was a very hot day so we really enjoyed jumping into the pool! The area around the pool is really nice for relaxing and playing games or hang out... There is a bathroom and shower nearby. And many cool artistic touches everywhere! Everything you need for a perfect getaway!
