On the property the camp sites are in a magical Redwood forest w/ big ferns, Lovely and peaceful, it is very close to hwy. 20 , only one mile to town and Safeway & Starbucks.(and a hospital) You feel like your deep in the woods, but really you are in 2 acres of beautiful , majestic redwoods/ with only 3 campsites, each one is spacious and fairly private. There is a nice fire pit / chairs & table/ with a small BBQ, for community use. Due to water shortage no showers, limited water for drinking. bring water.or
Campsite #1 is the only one for trailers/R.Vs,/ cars. RVs and trailers, up to 25 feet, is the largest l can fit. you need to be able to back in a short distance, if you are car camping w/ tent on car, or if you are just sleeping in your car, # 1 is the space for you. Due to extreme water shortage I am unable to provide shower,.or water hook ups!
You can hear the road at times. We are very close to the hwy. It feels like your "out there" but its only 1 mile to Fort Bragg city limits !!

We arrived to our reservation during the agreed-upon check in window and the host was nowhere to be found. We called several times, left several messages, and waited for over an hour until it was dark out. The host did not respond to multiple attempts to reach her via phone and the app throughout the weekend. We thankfully were able to find another site not too far away and got a refund from Hipcamp. We have still not heard a word from the host.
We stayed here during a bike trip to Jackson state demo forest and we’re very happy. Lovely camping spots and very close to Mendocino / Ft. Bragg.
Great communication. The spot is quiet and nestled in a beautiful grove of redwoods. Diana was very helpful.
Our stay was great! Diana is an awesome host. The lot is wooded and affords a lot of privacy. Our previous camping experiences have been at traditional campgrounds. We liked this particular Hipcamp experience so much more due to the privacy and space available to us.
Will definitely stay here again next time.
This little meadow is absolutely magical. The trees were beautiful and I loved spending time around the communal fire pit with other campers I met while there. You would never guess it's so close to Ft. Bragg. In fact, you'd never guess that it wasn't a private campground. Diana was unbelievably sweet and helpful. I can't recommend it enough! PS, if you stay here, I highly recommend driving down to Mendocino and grabbing breakfast at Good Life Cafe :)
Diana was a great host. The site was beautiful and felt really isolated. A relaxing environment in the trees. Super close to the beach and stores. Definitely would recommend.
Diana was very friendly and accommodating. This was our first HipCamp experience and had no idea what to expect. At first we were a little apprehensive being that it was essentially someone's backyard, but once we got settled in, we found it to be a cozy, quiet, private campsite. We actually liked it better than a campground! We were surrounded by trees and ferns, and the property was very clean. We forgot we weren't at an actual campground. The kids and our dog had fun exploring the property. We had plenty of room to play frisbee, fetch, and hide and seek. Diana provided chairs and a couple tables for us to use also. Overall, a fun experience. We would stay here again!

Thank you so much, It was great to meet you too, I'm so glad you enjoyed your time here! Hope to see you again!
