Nice jt spot out under the stars
Nice spot. Quiet. Great stars. A fair number of campsites in a smallish space. No problems with noise though. Host was communicative. Amenities clean and as described.
The site was well taken care of, and the location was great - just 12 or so minutes from Joshua Tree. I would have liked a little clearer directions at the end as it says you will see a yellow daisy cabin, but it would have been helpful to have known that you should drive towards the yellow daisy cabin and that the sites are inside of the fence where the cabin sits. Overall, it was a good site, and the night sky views were spectacular!
A delightful little campground! The shower and toilet were well maintained, the porta-potty was the cleanest I've ever used in my life, and I loved the solar lights scattered around! Winds were very strong, especially when the sun was out, so that's something to consider when packing and choosing a tent. Also the campsite was a good bit further from Joshua Tree National Park than expected. If you're looking for total isolation, this may not be the site for you because there are at least a few campsites in use at any given time, and they aren't all that far from each other.
Fabulous fencer fun
Great spot for the exploring traveler. Safe for pets, comfortable and cozy. It’s very windy at night but you’re in the desert so it comes with the territory.
I definitely recommend if you’re in the area. The sunset is unreal! You have all amenities and it’s very well laid out. The perfect combination of rustic and comfort. Beautiful place to wake up!
