One campsite located on my 21 acre property, only 2 acres is accessible to campers. Bring your car camper or van and set up camp under a canopy of oak trees. Unfortunately due to having a bear in our area we only allow campervans during the summer time. Absolutely no tent camping.

This campsite is located at what was once known as the Mt Baldy Trout Pools. I do live on the property with my dogs, but there is plenty of privacy while camping here.
There is a bathroom and shower located near by the campsite; a short walk is required.
No cell phone service or wifi is available, however, if there is an emergency I am near by to help out.
While staying, check out the many trailheads around the area! There is even a short hike accessible at the top of the property for campers. The lower part of the property is off limits due to being an active wedding venue.

The real highlight of this site is the short private hiking trail behind the campsite with fantastic views. Even though you are only a few minutes from grocery shopping, etc, it feels more remote. Having a real bathroom and shower, that aren't too close to camp, is a big plus as well. The site is right next to a main road, so no long dirt or gravel trails like some locations.

I loved tent camping on Claire’s land! Claire was nice and helpful. Toilets and bathrooms are super clean. However, it’s quite close to road so there’s noise from traffic at night.
Great communication from Claire. Cozy tucked away spot in the canyon. A little bit of road nose early in the eve but quiet after 9pm. Solid amenities and a spacious area to park, pitch a tent, and stargaze through the mature tree canopy. Would definitely recommend!
Very close to Manker Flat and Mt. Baldy Trailhead. Campsite was private and nice. Bathrooms with a hot shower were appreciated.
I had a great time! Claire was very helpful and commmunicative. The camping area is right near the road however after the local town closes, not many vehicles are heard. Other than that, it was peaceful and just what I needed!
Great space for camping! You have the entire area for yourself. They provided a camping table and trash can. Bathroom was clean and well-supplied.
The site is a separate part of the property but it is next to the main house and Main Street so you do get traffic noise in the morning. All and all you will still be in the wild and have a great full camping experience!

Great location, easy camping, friendly host, and clear instructions. Would stay again!
I am new to Hipcamp and was surprised by my first experience at Claire's Coyote Flats. The site looks actually better than the pictures. Claire was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. There is a short hiking trail within their property and a beautiful creek across the street. I can see myself coming back to Coyote Flats many times.

Everything went very smoothly, I loved the shower option and it was VERY close to the Mt. Baldy trailhead. Yes, the dogs barked some, but that’s all good!
