What an incredible place - one of the most beautiful spots on the river side you could imagine. The cabins were spotless and the bed comfy - I will be booking to come back very soon!

I am in love with this place. Never have I ever believed that such a hidden oasis was real and as perfect as I could imagine. Located right on a hill above the river, this simple, rustic cabin was everything we needed to be comfortable and happy. Our hosts greeted us with such kindness and made sure we had all we needed. They provided ample fire wood for both the outside fires and indoor wood burning stove. My dogs loved the location as much as us. The safely adventured and played off leash in the seclusion of the cabins.

This is a place of peace and beauty. Part of me hopes that no one ever discovers it and I can book any time I desire. But this heaven should be shared.

An absolute gem of a place, feeling so grateful we stumbled upon this place for a quick family getaway. The cabins are simple and comfortable and the location is divine. The swimming hole and beach area is very private and we didn't see any other people while we were there except for check-ins from the lovely hosts. We went on an exploration walk and found some of the other campsites about a half mile up and down the road. They are just upstream but around a sharp river bend and some riffly rapids so you don't see or hear anything from them.
There wasn't anyone staying in the other cabin while we were there, but if you have neighbors it's probably best to make friends and enjoy the amazing space together. We will be back and plan on coming back with friends to rent the other cabin so we can share the experience.
If you're thinking about bringing a paddle board, canoe, kayak or other little water craft, do it! The swimming hole in front of the cabins continues downstream into a deep pool for half a mile or so before you hit shallow rapids. Perfect for exploring with little ones or for a mellow cruise. So peaceful and not another human in sight. Lots of vultures, hawks and other birds though. And we saw a young bald eagle a couple of times, too.

I've been to a lot of off-the-beaten-path places in california now and this one was truly special. One of the most breathtakingly gorgeous places I've ever been. So peaceful and remote. Tom, one of the ranch owners, was very hospitable and welcoming. The swimming hole was cold but we swam anyway and it was refreshing at the hottest part of the day. It was fun to swim across and explore the rocks. We wandered the many acres of land and saw so much wildlife-- cows, deer, birds, and turkeys. Our dog just loved the place too. There was no one at the second cabin so we had this little section of camp to ourselves. I would also come back with a friend or siblings and rent both cabins for a group of 4. Living in the bay area I didn't think to bring bug spray, but you probably should because there were some mosquitos at dusk. Not too bad though (especially if you are used to the east coast).

What a wonderful and unique stay. Will be back.

Trees and rolling hills for miles. So many wildflowers! Our dog had a great time.Cows blocking the road on the way in 😂
