Host Maurine is a kind, compassionate person. We postponed our reservation so she could offer a safe place for evacuees from the wildfires. I hear a lot of people say they value people over profits, but it’s nice to see someone actually living by this.
I am very much looking forward to staying on the site soon.
This spot has the absolutely perfect spot to watch the sunset. You’re up on a hilltop looking over the wine country of Sonoma County. We had a lovely evening watching the sun go do with a glass of wine in hand lounging on the patio furniture.
I love the wooden countertops on the patio. You sure get a great view while you’re cooking.
There’s a couple of different areas you can choose to set up your tent. There’s also a flat area up near the bathroom, there’s a great view up there! They also have a fancy flushing toilet in the bathroom shed, so you’re basically glamping! Haha.
This spot definitely exceeded my expectations. Come camp here if you’re traveling through Sonoma or Napa county!
Perfect weekend getaway
Perfect weekend getaway from San Francisco. It has everything you need. Relaxing, clean, comfortable. Beautiful spot. We could hear the wind rustling up above but it never really got windy at our spot. No real critters to speak of other than one lone bee who kept visiting us during meal times. 🤓 Quiet. The cricket chirping was amazing. We were socked in in fog for the first night, I think we were just up in the clouds because it is a o high up. The second night was clear and gorgeous. Full moon made it hard to see the stars I heard so much about, but I’m sure they were there! It’s already on our list of places to return to.
Wine country bliss!
What a wonderfully peaceful setting to spend an evening watching the sunset and sipping wine. Comfy outdoor lounge area, BBQ grill, working bathroom... Hipcamp at its finest. We will definitely come back for future visits! Thank you, Maurine!
Sunset and starry night
By far, the best place we’ve stayed during our road trip. Endless sunset views followed by breathtaking starry skies and the crickets song lulled us to sleep. This is a special place and we hope to be able to return ! Amazing and gracious host too!
Beautiful with thoughtful touches
What a lovely place! There is a beautiful pavilion to hang out in, really flat tent area, unexpectedly nice bathroom, and there’s water and good views. Had a great time!
Gem of a stay
Beautiful land! Spacious, Private & Playful.
Plenty of lounge furniture and artistic touches.
Fantastic view of the stars.
Maurine was a great host - thoughtful & communicative. Her description of the site is very helpful & spot on.
