Our site is conveniently located in beautiful Joshua Tree CA, located across the highway from the Morongo Basin hospital and the police station. Approximately only 15 mins from the Joshua Tree National Park. Great for getting out of the city and star gazing at night and having fun with the family. We want others to share our experience of this magnificent holy tree that only grows in the desert areas including Jerusalem which is the capital of Israel , and sadly these trees are going extinct. So feel at ease while camping with us, and gain a sense of happiness and relaxation.
Some of the places my family and I like to go in the Joshua Tree park is the Barker Dam which is roughly 10-15 minute hike with beautiful views and very unique water landscape, we take our kids all the time and its stroller accessible. Arch Rock is a minimal hike. Will ultimately be eliminated due to erosion and makes a great photo opp. Keys View is a no hike required and fantastic place for sunrise and sunset. The Cholla Cacti have grown in mass quantities in this section of the park. Very unique and great photo opp. Skull Rock is a grate place to take your energy filled kids. Interesting rock formation that looks like a giant skull. I take my five boys here all the time they love to climb the rocks and go exploring for caves. There's more exploring around skull rock if you're feeling adventurous. Ryan Mountain: strenuous hike. Highest point in the park, great workout with fantastic views.
Natural Sisters Café is my personal favorite breakfast spot, locally roasted coffee and vegetarian. Pie for the People: amazing pizza, however they have moved to yucca valley, also another great vegan place to eat is Cali greens located by Starbucks. JT Saloon is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Live music typically Thursdays. Love this place. Joshua Tree Coffee Company: coffee shop with locally roasted beans, a must see if you like coffee. The hemp milk latte is a favorite! Crossroads Café: great breakfast and lunch spot next to the gas station, with a ton of homemade items.

This site was the definition of desert camping. My boyfriend and I stayed here after we found out the sites in Joshua Tree were all full. It was a bit difficult to find at first but we found it with little hassle. I liked how secluded we were from others and the nice addition of the fire pit! Make sure you bring toilet paper because you’ll be using the restroom outside! Also not too far from anything, we really enjoyed pizza at Pie For The People (per Chads suggestion). Great spot would stay again
Great bit of desert with no houses visibly close for a private and quiet experience. We had a great time. I had to reverse my travel trailer out as there was nowhere to make an easy turn without brush and soft sand.
Easy to find with Chad's instructions!! Very private, nice view, great for seeing the stars at night - no bathroom or picnic table/benches or anything but there's lots of room. 10 minute drive from Joshua Tree west entrance and close to food/gas stations/shops in town.
Private large campsite
A delightful campsite, especially if you are seeking some privacy. Very clear directions to get to the campsite. Owner placed a new fire pit and several solar lights prior to our arrival. I wanted a site that would be stress free for my reactive pooch, and this fit perfectly for us. Owners were very kind and engaging to make sure we had everything that we may have needed. Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit.
Space, solitude and stars
We had a really great time on Chad’s property. Plenty of space and solitude. Outstanding views of the mountains and at night the stars are breathtaking.
Chad stoped by in the afternoon to check we had found the site without any problems as well as to see if we needed anything or had any questions. He’s a terrific host.
