The property was a gorgeous piece of land. Large enough to hike and explore. The kids loved watching the horses wander thru the vineyard. Definitely reccomend getting the canoe, to get the full experience. Fishing was awesome, and worth coming back for. Making plans to head back soon.

We had a great time at Karen and Claire’s place. We stayed in the Vineyard View site and loved having a big space to ourselves, having the bathroom a short walk away, and being next to the trails. As other reviewers have mentioned, Karen and Claire are ridiculously kind and generous hosts. They let my son help with farm chores and made our stay fun and memorable.

Karen and Claire were very sweet and welcoming. The property is beautiful with just the right amount of activities to do during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Piece of advice - if you’re staying near the pond, be sure to wear plenty of bug spray. The mosquitoes were out in full effect!
This was by far one if the best camping experiences we’ve had ro date. The spor was perfect for our lil’ 10 foot teardrop. Karen was gracious enough to teach us how to cast (it was our first tine fishing) - and we caught our first ever fish. We took packed in our kayak, and had a great time tooling around the pond. The gem of the whole trip was wine tasting with Karen and Claire. Their personalities are infectious, and can make anyone feel welcome and at home. We will absolutely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay! Our spot was beautiful along the bank of the pond. Hosts Karen and Claire were friendly and very hospitable. The property is beautiful and offers hiking, fishing, star gazing, bird watching, and biking. We also chose to add on the wine tasting. It was one of our favorite experiences there and worth the extra cost. Their wine is amazing, the food was delicious, and the company was wonderful! We are looking forward to going back soon. Thank you Karen and Claire!

We had a beautiful weekend of camping right beside the pond. We did not get to meet Karen or Claire, but Clint met us at the gate and gave us a warm welcome. The property is gorgeous and the kids had a great time catching and releasing wide mouth bass.

Karen and Claire’s property is beautiful. I brought my wife here for her birthday. The campsite was right on the pond and next to their grape vines. Our dogs loved swimming in the water and we took our paddle boards out as well. Karen was a wonderful host and very accommodating. We were able to taste her wines (which were amazing) in her home. We will definitely be coming back. It was truly a memorable weekend.
I hate to share this treasure but this is too good to keep to myself. Where to start. The property is truly beautiful, a vineyard on rolling hills, mature oak trees, acres of land to hike and explore, wildlife, serene seclusion, and in the middle of all of this, a beautiful pond. And all of that is a pale reflection of Karen and Claire’s graceful hospitality. Not only are they fascinating women, but strike that balance between allowing you your privacy yet always being available to help. Oh! And their wine! FABULOUS. 😋. Organic, properly aged and delicious. There is absolutely no cell service and there are no hook ups. But if you were looking for a peaceful escape into nature I can’t think of a better place.

This beautiful, 80-acre vineyard and ranch was the perfect backdrop for our camping weekend. Great swimming hole down the road. There were more wildlife sightings on site than I could count on one hand! Plus there were a flock of chickens, gorgeous black stallion and sweet mares that roam the estate.
Hosts Karen & Claire were responsive and so welcoming. They greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us to our sheep wagon campsite, right by the waterfront. They even left the canoes out for us to explore the large pond. The sites are fairly spread apart; there was only one other site across the way, that we could see. The campground has a single shower and toilet in the barn, in the heart of the vineyard. It was about 8-minute walk from our site— keep in mind if you need to go!
Other pro-tips: don’t forget the bug spray during the summer! Barn doors and front gates are kept closed for the animals. Keep food stored away (in your car) at night to avoid any hungry critters.
Will be back to check out the other sites and try a tasting!
