Welcome to El Dorado! Desert mountain views, stunning sunrises, breathtaking sunsets, rabbits hopping around the yard, coyotes howling at night, and mustangs a stones throw from your tent. We’re inviting you to enjoy dinners as the sun sets over Joshua Tree national park with our propane grill, to sit by a cozy campfire, to jump into the relaxing hammocks at night while gazing at the Milky Way Galaxy… this can be your unforgettable glamping experience.
BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE SECTION. It has details you NEED TO KNOW before booking.
Sleeping - Inside this awesome bell tent you'll find a queen bed full of comfy pillows and two fold out twin mattress cushions.
Bathrooms - We've got a bathroom! There are two porta potties near the tent so you will never have to worry about a place to go.
Power - There is a small generator for enough power to charge your phones. There is a top of the line Yeti to be used as a cooler, we just ask that you please bring your own bags of ice if you plan to store drinks or food.
Cooling & Heating - Fans & extra blankets are available to help with the desert climate. Portable heater is provided. We just ask that you bring your own propane which we recommend buying in your home town before coming here due to a propane shortage. Winter nights do reach between 20-30 degrees so any gloves, beanies, thick jackets are recommended. It gets VERY hot during the peak summer days but cools off enough to enjoy every morning, late afternoon and night.
Outside fun - we've got fantastic outdoor space equipped with two hammocks, a fire pit, propane grill, picnic table and more. Please bring your own wood for fires
Horses -
We are a mustang sanctuary and animal rescue. Please let us know if you would like to interact with the horses. Carrots are highly recommended and acceptable for feed if you’d like to bring some. Come to the front of the corral only, near the water tank if you’d like to say hello. Please do not approach the sides or back of gate. Equine interactive experience is available to book. I highly recommend this extra special experience.

My kids loved the horses, goats and dogs. They had a great time!
My family of four loved our authentic experience glamping and getting a taste of living and working on the ranch with the rescue horses and goats. My children were able to feed the animals and loved the Equine Interactive Experience that although was about 2 hours we felt like we were getting any time we visited the animals. Chris was very knowledgeable and always willing to educate us on connecting and taking care of the animals. Marissa was a perfect host with communication and welcoming us. She would allow my daughter to help her feed the goats and catch the baby goats. We enjoyed the fire pit, star gazing, laying in the hammocks, BBQing and it was nice to have the shower to wash the dishes. Remember to bring your own plates and bowls and forks but a basic set of frying pans and 1 pot is provided. The mats and the queen bed were comfortable and we were able to sleep, which isn’t always guaranteed camping. We brought sleeping bags for the kids on the mats and the bed and comforter were enough to keep us warm. We didn’t need the buddy heater in early April (50s temps) after all. The location was just enough off the main road and noise was not a big issue. It was an unforgettable and special experience and we would recommend it for anyone but especially for kids.
What a wonderful experience. My daughter will forever remember this trip and we will be back. Melissa and Chris were so kind. The best part was waking up to the beautiful horses in the morning and getting to visit them.
This glamping spot was great! Everything was very tidy, and lots of accommodations were provided in the tent. Also, the spot is only about 10 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree, and about 15 mins from the national park entrance! Marissa was very attentive, and only a text away.
I really love the place, the tent is very clean. Marissa very friendly and explain everything very detail. Also i love their dogs and horses.
They provide everything blanket, towel, budy heater. The shower & porta potty also very clean and smell nice. The view also very beautiful. Definitely will be back again someday. Thank u Marissa 😊

We couldn't believe how amazing our experience was. The tent had everything you would expect from glamping and more. Marissa was extremely helpful and she would always be a text away. She made sure we had a great time. We would definitely book again :)
Excellent location, conveniently located to hiking at Joshua Tree National Park. Very well-kept with great amenities.
We had a great stay and loved the property! Will for sure be staying here again!
