This review applies to not only the cabin but my stay in general. I love the location and Amanda is absolutely amazing. One of the best hosts I've ever experienced and I will definitely come back again!
Excellent first visit at camp ag
Camp AG is located in a nice Pismo suburb. The facilities are clean and in good shape. Hostess was very prompt communicating with me and everything was ready when we arrived. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Would stay again.
Last minute booking.
Needed a place to spend the night on our way back home. Hotels in the area were over $300 for the night because it was Saturday. We did have to buy a few blankets but it was still waaaay cheaper to stay here. The older restrooms definitely need some remodeling, but the newer ones were great. We did not have a chance to walk the property but it does have a "feel" of being in the woods. Would stay again, but in one of the more remodeled cabins.
Everything as advertised!
Take advantage of the entertainment area with a pool table, board games and a piano. This was such a nice touch.
The bathrooms/showers were impeccably clean and newer than the cabin.
Overall, it was a good value for money.
Great property. Clean bathrooms & showers. Water for shower was nice & warm. The pool was really clean and heated - which is so nice because coastal weather is chilly to this Central Valley family lol. The bathroom wasn’t far from the bathroom. We stayed at 6 Pruitt Cabin. Cabin was spacious and clean. Had a fire pit and cabin also had a back deck with a patio table and 4 chairs. The front deck had 2 folding chairs. Had a dresser with mirror & 4 cushioned chairs. Love the electric outlet (it really needs more than 1 though). Loved that the campground was walking distance to nearby Arroyo Village. We didn’t even bring food to grill or anything. We took a nice family stroll at the village and had a great dinner out in the patio because we had our dog. Property is pet friendly!! It was a 10 min drive to nearby Pismo & Shell beach. Another 5 mins & we drove to Avila Beach. Next time - we will go to Mustang Waterpark at Lake Lopez & get a cabin with a bathroom (just cause it’s so much more convenient). Gonna convince my parents, siblings, & cousins to camp here for sure! Already have a plan to come back with my friend & do a girls trip with our daughters. And of course we are coming back as a family. I grew up camping at Lake Lopez with my family- so I was familiar with the area. Never knew this one existed though! It’s a hidden gem for sure!
Gem in the rough
Great place to stay in the Central Coast. Close to town, yet quiet and peaceful. On-site bathrooms/ showers, swimming pool, and basketball court. Our cabin had a picnic table, fire pit, and Santa Maria style grill.
Cool spot! We rented 4 of these cabins over Memorial
Day weekend with family- check in was a breeze, everyone was very friendly, and the grounds were pretty quiet even over the holiday weekend! Cabins are rustic and in varying degrees of "updated" which was fine for us since we normally camp and this was a "glamping" experience. Awesome to have the pool there. Walking distance to the village of AG and close to beaches and everything else you could want!
