I had a hard time booking a reasonably priced hotel room for Cal Poly parents weekend until I ran across Camp Areoyo Grande. Not only was it reasonably priced, it was spacious and very comfortable for my whole family. The camp area was so cute. We sadly did not spend very much time there. The camp is located within walking distance of the adorable town of Arroyo Grande. So many cute restaurants and coffee shops, and of course we can’t forget to mention the cute camp cat who greeted us at our door every evening when we arrived and every morning when we woke up. Overall a great stay in IKeda Lodge! Clean spacious. Not fancy at all but covers the base in a very nice way! Looking forward to our next visit to camp Arroyo Grande!

We had such a nice weekend staying at the Ikeda lodge. Plenty of space and beds and close to the pool. The only thing it’s missing is a bbq, so make sure to bring one. Would definitely stay there again!

This place is the Bomb!! Worked great for my Mother in law and family members. She had a private room and my son in law and daughter with 2 grand kids had the second room. We had 2 RV spots and this was the main meeting place for meals and gathering.

Great affordable big cabin. Just a few short minutes to the beaches and grocery stores\resturants. Tons of space, outdoor deck, pool, horseshoes, tetherball and more. We sat around the couches in the main room and pretended like we were at summer camp. It actually worked and we had more spontaneous conversation with our 3 tweens than we have in what seemed a long time. Gated for security was a plus . Down right interesting, wonderful alternative to the pricey coast hotels. Bring your bedding, linens and kitchen needs and your set. Check in was seemless. We missed out on the fire pit out of laziness. Highly recommend!

Compared to camping outside, it is refreshing to have beds & alot of bathrooms & a kitchen at our disposal. The place was not as clean as I would have liked. There were events that took place that were upsetting. The doors did not lock (similar to camping) but I was told I would get a key but didn't. Overall, I would say it was an average stay. Wouldn't come back tho.

We had a great weekend here. It's an interesting hybrid of camping and a cabin...you BYO like you were tent camping (towel, shampoo, forks, coffee maker, bedding, pillows) but you have the luxuries of a fridge, stove, sink, and full bathrooms. We were a party of 6 and this cabin is HUGE and the 3 bathrooms were great. The cabin's furnishings are very modest and worn (no worries about kids breaking anything though!) but it has a great deck with an outdoor table and views onto an oak tree ravine.
The location is extremely close to the town of Arroyo Grande--you can walk there down the driveway, and also quite close to the 101 fwy, so you don't get that full nature immersion feeling. But, it's also very convenient to run to town for food or jump on the fwy to head to a nearby beach.
The pool was immaculate and the kids had a great time in there each day. The fire pit was quite large and had nice stadium seating. Ordering wood was easy. It's a communal fire pit but we were able to snag alone time there each night. Would like to return in the early spring and see this place green!

Kind host. Everything worked well but cooking items. Bring items as if you went camping. No microwave. Good oven, freezer, refrigerator, shower, toilets. Wonderful AC. Old couches. Nice large living space. Safe

Quite great location close to downtown arroyo grande. Nice pool and fire pit
