My husband and I came up this way to celebrate 18 wonderful years of marriage. We brought ours dogs Samuel and Boaz along and they loved the place. In fact they are the one's that found your puffy dog bed in the closet. Our dogs loved the river too. When we had to contact you to get the code to add YouTube app on the Roku device so we could watch sermons on Shabbat you replied ASAP.
While we didn't use it we liked that you had a crockpot available for future reference. We come up here frequently as our Torah Observat Messianic fellowship is in Redding. Your cabin is welcoming, quaint and comfortable. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.
May YHWH bless you and keep you
May YHWH shine his face upon you and slow favor upon you
May YHWH lift up His face upon you and give you SHALOM
My daughter was moving from Portland to San Francisco, and needed to stop someplace where she would not have to unload her roof rack on her car. She was able to park right outside of the cabin and left her boxes on the rack for the night. Lisa was very responsive and great to communicate with, and my daughter reported the stay was excellent, and she really enjoyed it. Highly recommend! She also reported it was a beautiful location.
We had chosen Lisa’s cabin for a quick fishing weekend and it served its purpose perfectly. The cabin has all the amenities you would need, including well-stocked cupboards and toiletries which we really appreciated. The heater keeps it nice and warm in there, and we ended up watching a movie both nights! A great little place and we will definitely be keeping it in mind if we make a summer trip to the area. Lisa is also communicative and cares about her service.
Lisa’s cabin was cozy & perfect for a restful night before snow shoeing in Shasta. The cabin was clean, beds were comfy & the kitchen well-stocked. Checking in & out was simple &hassle-free, and communicating with Lisa was easy. If you are considering a stay at Lisa’s cabin, I’d recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper—there are trains that pass by at night and the heater can be a bit noisy. Despite this, I would stay at Lisa’s again the next time I’m in the area!
Our trip was unexpectedly delayed due to a snow storm, and Lisa was so supportive and communicative as we tried to make our way up! The cottage was dreamy and stocked with coffee, snacks, and other amenities that made it feel like home. Would absolutely visit again :)
This cabin exceeded our expectations and was a home away from home! Loved the little touches such as the fireplace, kitchen, games/dvds, and my favorite the Christmas tree that was put up in time for the holidays. Our furbabies (Puppy & Kitten) loved it and we will definitely be suggesting this to our friends and will be coming again! :)
Great place and host. We planned on hiking but the weather didn't cooperate. Instead we spend the weekend in the cabin relaxing and reading
It was very comfortable. There is a heated mattress pad that is awesome.

We came in late that evening. Lisa was above and beyond with communication. Really felt as if you were staying at a good friend or families cabin. Lots of love went into this amazing spot. We booked it as a half way spot heading back from Bend, Oregon to the Central Valley. We noticed all the hikes in the area so have decided this should be a destination for a long weekend. 100% recommend and will 100% be back for a longer trip.
