About the Property

Tucked in the mountains, in this unique tent camping spot you will be 3 minutes from the river and 7 minutes from the ocean, where you can kayak and swim. Being above the fogline with such low light pollution provides great opportunities for star-gazing. Apple picking (onsite but only in September and October) and hiking are just a few minutes away. Point Arena, a 7 minute drive, is a small but charming town close to the site where you can stock up on supplies on your way in or during your stay.

Point Arena Pier near downtown Point Arena offers both surfing and fishing. Fishing supplies can be purchased at Cove Coffee near the pier. If you plan to surf, keep in mind that the water is COLD, so come prepared, and know your limits.

This is a great place - away from it all, but also close to the wonderful town of Point Arena. Sequoia was a great host - good communication and very knowledgable of the entire area; suggesting hikes and other features. This is a great group site and we would definitely come here with friends again!

Sequoia was amazing. He was very informative and even forwarded me a detailed itinerary for the day. He had someone meet us in town to drive us to the beautiful secluded location. The camp / location is beautiful and peaceful. The site had full hook ups and was clean and so peaceful!!!

Very private camp site! Easy 30amp power hook up for the camper. Someone left a 30 to 15 adapter at the hook up so easy to use for a regular plug! Site has a slight downward slop but relatively level from side to side. I got fairly level with the help of one 2x6 I had found and drove over. The RV site wasn’t big enough for me to turn around but I’m a fairly new with the travel trailer. However, I was able to pull down into the site, back up and turn the trailer down the hill, drive up the hill, and finally turn and back down into the site with the truck facing out. The WiFi works great! We completed most of the recommendations Sequoia had sent us and it was amazing!! 🙌🏼 10/10 loved it! Tacoma with 16ft Riverside Retro

Great sunny spot in the woods. Very private and quiet. Needed most of my leveling blocks to level my travel trailer.

What an amazing, secluded camping spot! This was our first time trying out the RV camping life and we couldn't have chosen a nicer spot. The host made sure we could find the hidden spot by meeting us in town and leading us in - an invaluable service. It is a remote area and although there is another campsite across the street and up the hill, there was almost no noise other than the wind in the trees. It was very peaceful and relaxing. There is one home across a small wooded ravine from our site, and we could occasionally hear that family going about their weekend business (kids playing, etc.) but once night fell - blissful silence. Plenty of room to play fetch if your dog is into that like ours it. Nice short wooded trail adjacent to the site and an almost unused road to wander down. Sequoia was very responsive and helped us find the woodpile down the road from which we were able to purchase wood for our fire.

The site has all three RV hookups which were well maintained and easy to use. There is a fire ring on site as well as a picnic table. The site is not level. We had quite a time trying to get the RV level. Some of that is probably due to our novice level experience in leveling, but not all. The site could use a re-grading to make it more RV friendly. Also, if you're coming in an RV with no other mode of transport, don't forget anything! The little town of Point Arena is 3 miles from the campsite and once we had everything unpacked and setup inside the RV, we were there for the long haul. Really wish I had remembered to pack the coffee I set out at home before we left!

All in all an amazing property for your getaway. Can't recommend it highly enough!

The fire ring is smaller than the wood, but you can make it work.Got a little drone footage of the site.Potter loved all the running and fetching space! You can see pretty much the whole site here. it is BIG!

What can I say, so beautiful and restful. Sequoia was a great host, fabulous communication every step of the way. Lots of wildlife. Downtown Point Arena is minuets away and has the quaintest Movie Theater ever! Lots to explore near by! The group camp above us was thoughtfully set up and just a great place to hang out.

Nice quiet, off the beaten path place to stay. Sequoia was very communicative, even sending suggestions of hikes nearby. Although the RV site does have all 3 hookups, it should be noted that they are not all in the same spot. The sewage clean out is 15-20 feet away from the electricity and water. Because of this we chose to just pull up and dump when we left
