Great communal space and amenities. Good communication. Make sure you touch bases with Sequoia before going to the address, as the listed address is not supposed to be approached without an escort.

Nice little camp ground in the woods. Pets potties were clean. Even with two other parties it was quiet. Great to have WiFi out there. Host made a ton of suggestions of what to do, where to go and eat.
Only down side is that there is only one fire pit.
Will come again!

So, like some others, I was a little uprooted when I discovered the pricing was increased per individual. I was also a bit taken back about the fee for additional vehicles. That being said, when contacting Sequoia about these (prior to booking) his response was immediate. After some discussion he had offered up a few discount options of which I gladly jumped on. Once we arrived and met Sequoia; he was incredibly accommodating, and shared with us his future vision for the camping area which caused and instant comprehension of why prices were what they were, why the layout is what it is, and what aspirations are in store for the future of the site. I would recommend awd but it’s only for one little hill on the way in. Past that the place is an easy drive and Sequoia had a well mannered individual meet us in town and direct us straight to our reservation spot. The site itself is gorgeous. An orchard of fruit trees surrounded by giant redwoods creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Sequoia was full of compelling stories of his past and we sincerely feel as though we made a new friend here. Will absolutely be seeking this spot out upon returning to the west coast. I would certainly say if you’re out to explore; make the jump to Gualala. Point Arena doesn’t have the friendliest of inhabitants to visitors.

It was my first time experience camping and I enjoyed every little bit of it. The people were so nice and they helped us. And they little cute was nice and the additional of the firewood was nice touch and I got to make some good food like hot dogs and s’mores!!

This was a great private site! It can be a little hard to find, so pay attention to the route/directions. There was potable water and the porta-potties were sparkling clean upon arrival. The picnic tables made it so much easier to eat our meals. The fire pit was used every night and is a great amenity to have.

We loved Buckridge Grove so much that we came back for a second year! Sequoia is a great host and is super responsive and helpful. The sites are very clean and the stargazing on clear nights is amazing.

The location is perfect since you are only about a 10-15 min drive down to the ocean and hiking trails.
