Pearl the Airstream
Perfect lodging and location
Pearl, Kelley and the location of Kelley’s land were all excellent! Pearl was just perfect, cozy with everything I needed. It was so convenient to have the stove and kettle and dishes for making hot water, and the nice table indoors and outdoors for eating.
Kelley was so nice and welcoming, and she recommended the Emerald Pools and Pioneer Trail for some nearby hiking, and those were great spots. They were both beautiful and easily accessible. The night sky was amazing and I caught the beginning of the Gemini meteor shower so there were a lot of shooting stars!
Definitely would recommend, and I hope to come back in spring/summer to do some swimming in the Emerald Pools.

Pearl the Airstream
We had a great time in Pearl! Kelley was a great host and patient with my numerous questions. The land is beautiful and feels so far removed from everything! It was down to freezing at night but we were cozy and warm inside.

Pearl the Airstream
Loved it
My stay in Pearl was absolutely amazing. So much so that I stayed another day. Kelley's property is beautiful and we had so many areas to explore. There are plenty of places to hike around and even the spots around the property were enough to get our nature fix. My dog loved roaming and playing in the river. The set up outside is perfect for nights outside reading and relaxing. Kelley checked in and was reachable when needed but for the most part was unseen. I'm already planning to come back in Spring!

Campsite 3 - Under the Trees
Great campsite
Probably the best hipcamp experience I’ve had. The host is super nice and the sites themselves are flat, comfortable, and even have nice lights. The outdoor sink and shower are good though we didn’t use the shower, and the restroom was really clean. Also nice that it’s so close to the rock climbing area that we were at.

Campsite 2 - Across the Meadow
Kelley was an amazing host, greeting us on arrival to make sure we got settled in. We camped in a quiet meadow surrounded by little cafe lights. It had everything we needed for a peaceful evening outdoors: flat soft ground, running water, bathroom.

Pearl the Airstream
We spent 3 nights at this wonderful location! The amenities couldn't have been better and Kelley was a fantastic host there when you needed her but she let you have your privacy too. Close to great hiking swimming and Lake Tahoe! I would highly recommend this location without hesitation! Our trip was just my wife and I with our medium sized dog. Pearl was just right size wise. The dishes, silverware, cooking equipment was top notch. I can't express enough how pleased we were with our stay!
