Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Classic camping and fishing with excellent views of the mountains and lake We have developed tent and campervan sites right on the water. Lies within the Toiyabe National Forest area and near two distinct hot springs. The lake is great for fishing in the spring through fall. In proximity to great river and stream fishing as well. 30 minutes or 31 miles to Tioga pass into Yosemite National Park. Plenty of mountain biking and 4x4 trails access. Bodie Ghost Town is very close as well.

Some things to be aware of are that this is high desert climate, with little to moderate tree coverage. Imagine it is much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. The elevation is 6,400 feet (1,950 meters). There are many harmless flying insects flying around here. They are called Chironomidae, and the fish love to eat them. Mosquito activity is minimal. Currently the drought has the water level low.

Are you visiting Yosemite National Park? Please see these highlights from the Yosemite NP Website:

  • Reservations will once again be required to enter Yosemite National Park from May 20th to September 30th, 2022 during the hours of 6am to 4pm. Visitors entering the park outside of those peak hours are not required to have a reservation. (Park entry fees still apply).
  • All YARTS bus riders have the park entry fee included in their fare so a reservation is not required. The YARTS bus leaves from Mammoth Lakes, June Lake and Lee Vining daily from June 15th to October 15th 2022,  (pending Tioga Pass opening).  YARTS tickets can be purchased same-day with the bus driver or reserved in advance at the YARTS website.
  • Through traffic (east-west travelers who are not stopping or visiting the park but simply driving over Tioga Pass to another destination) will also need a reservation if entering during the peak hour times. (Park entry fees still apply).
  • Visitors can make reservations to enter Yosemite National Park for this summer at the Yosemite NP Website

But we will not refund so close to your reservation date. By making a booking request, we are to understand that you have considered and accepted this policy. Thank you for understanding.

Some weekends in summer require 2 night minimum booking. Holiday weekends require 3 night min. booking.

Loved this site! The owners are so nice and helpful and the site is stunning with Mountain View’s over the lake! We woke up at 530 am and the full moon was still out over the mountains. Best way to wake up ever! Wish I could have stayed longer. It’s also super close to a lot of really fun things to see and do.

Beautiful view right on the water with amazing views of the mountains and comfortable campsites. Staff was very friendly, helpful, & hospitable. Close proximity to town, and Buckeye and Travertine Hot Springs. Good camp amenities onsite such as bathrooms, fire wood, and more.

Chase was really welcoming, and the scene was absolutely gorgeous! We went in April so it was quite cold at night - so come prepared.

This was an awesome campsite! We got lucky and had the reservoir pretty much to ourselves. The views were gorgeous, the land was well kept, and the bathrooms were clean. They even had heating and warm water in them, very bougée. Kirk was the host while we were there and he was great. He was respectful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was also great; close to shops, hot springs, the twin lakes, and beautiful trails. I would definitely stay here again!

Very helpful host. The reservoir at a low level makes for a nice view: a huge plain with the sunrise coloring the Sierra Nevada pink. Good place to stay when road tripping the US-395
