Let us take care of planning your next camping adventure and come camp by one of the most beautiful natural hot springs in North America. We invite you to come relax and recharge in one of our fully furnished canvas tents that have just about everything you need for a carefree camping experience far from the stresses of the city. Even though the property is off the grid, each tent rental comes with 6 hours of generator powered electricity per day included in the price, which will power the Heating/AC unit , overhead lighting, and 2 outlet plugs with 2 USB charging ports built in. Additional generator use is charged at a rate of $5/hour. Wi-fi is available on a limited basis upon request.
Our furnished tents measure approximately 17x24ft with 9ft ceilings and composite flooring with area rugs. The tent has a deluxe queen size air mattress made up with linen & bedding , but we recommend bringing an extra warm blanket for those chilly nights in the desert that dip between 30-50 degrees F. The tents also has 2 large cots for extra guests, end tables, a sofa, a coffee table, 1 large metal locker(bring your own lock if you want to lock it), hooks and plastic shelving units to place personal items. The kitchenette area has 2 tables and chairs, a camp stove with fuel, 2 pots and pans, basic cooking utensils, paper towels, paper plates and plastic flatware.
The yard and outdoor area features a large picnic table, briquette or propane bbq grill(propane is provided, but you must bring your own briquettes). We are located in an extremely high fire danger area but all sites have a campfire pit that can be used if no burn ban is in effect. There is no gathering of firewood permitted in our area, but we have firewood for sale on site...so don't forget your s'mores!
Our property is located 12 miles from the nearest services and 6 miles off the pavement in a unique area of the Apple Valley Highlands called Juniper Flats, nestled between the mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest and the Mojave Desert. The rural setting of this property provides abundant opportunities to be one with nature and escape the confines of the city. This 160 acre homestead property has 360* views of natural undisturbed mountain and desert landscapes. And with miles of trails on and off the property, visitors can explore numerous points of interest and expect to see local wildlife and rare flora in every direction. Coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, squirrels, rattlesnakes, eagles, hawks, owls, quail, hummingbirds, deer, jackrabbits, lizards and toads are just some of the inhabitants of the Juniper Flats area one might catch a glimpse of or hear in the distance.
Right from the property you can take a moderately rigorous 45 minute hike along a beautiful nature filled trail to the Deep Creek Hot Springs for the ultimate reward of soaking in one of the 5 natural hot spring pools. A friction fault creates 112 degree spring water that forces its way to the surface between cracks in the canyons rock walls, leading to the formation of these healing lithium hot spring pools that many consider to be the best hot spring pools in North America. The hot spring pools empty into the gently moving Deep Creek, that flows year round in the canyon, creating a most salubrious experience of hot and cold water therapies anytime of the year.

Great desert glamping!
Had a great time glamping in the furnished tents! The tents were comfy, had a lots of space with power and AC, and close enough to hike to Deep Creek hot springs. Beautiful property, with friendly and helpful staff, would definitely come back
A memory for the ages if
We had an incredible time on Brent’s property. Hang your hat here for a vacation and you won’t be disappointed. It’s an intimate getaway in a unique area. Great for a trip with a lover or a group of friends. The hike to the hot springs is rewarding- physically and otherwise. You just have to see for yourself!
Great furnished tent & service!
This was a great spot that keeps you warm and out of the wind. Matt was super friendly and helped us out when we needed it! I would highly recommend doing the big tents for a group of friends and a little bit of glamping!
Loved this place. Beautiful site, 260 degree basin at the top of the land. The tents are huge, like small apartments. Fire pit, Weber grill, picnic table, inside there is a Coleman stove and fuel, tables, large air beds, bedding, carpet. What a nice place. The tents are so durable and wind proof. Super windy up there. Flush outhouse, sink area, showers, even hot water. hiking distance to the trailhead for the hot springs. Hosts (Brent and others) are so nice and welcoming.
Enjoyed our stay. Awesome space, beautiful land, friendly and attentive hosts if needed. Didn’t have any issues finding the place or the spring. 10/10 recommend!
Secluded in nature
This was the perfect blend of rustic and pampered. The tent was huge and very well outfitted. Bed was comfortable, kitchen gear was well stocked. Several solar powered lights, chairs, tables, fire pit was all perfect. The “bathroom” was close enough but far enough away to be ideal. We were pleasantly surprised at the hot running water in the sinks. Much, much more in the way of creature comforts than one expects from camping.
Matt checked us in, oriented us to everything, and was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide.
But the real attraction was the setting. So peaceful and beautiful. Stars at night and sunny landscape in the daytime. The hot springs nearby with the hike to reach them, provided a perfect day-long adventure. The whole experience was fantastic.
Nice large tents although I’d suggest getting there before dark as it’s not easy to get around on unmarked dirt roads at night. I wouldn’t recommend renting the cots - they’re more like old army medical cots that are the higher of a massage table. Better off bringing a nice air mattress or sleeping pad. But the tents are very spacious and accommodating with closets, tables, fireplaces, chairs, bed etc. While there is a “short cut” to the springs from the property, beware this hike is long and in exposed desert heat, you need to be prepared with good shoes, plenty of water and a headlamp in case you don’t make it back before sunset. Once we met the owner, Brent he was great but we had no response to communications leading up to our stay and couldnt reach anyone when we got lost either so again, make sure to go before the sun sets and don’t depend on WiFi.
A blissful way to bring in 30.
My group and I had a phenomenal time! Matt, the host, was incredibly friendly and hospitable! He helped us get settled in and showed us to the hot springs. We glamped in one of the large tents. The tent was stocked with a stove, utensils, an air mattress and more! Showers and a toilet were also on site. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!
