Welcome to Camp Shady Meadow!

We can't wait for you to come and stay at our gorgeous RV park and campground, nestled in the forest just north of Blairsden. Park your RVs or bring your tents in one of our 17 different sites. Take in the spectacular views of nature and wildlife all around you. Campers can spend their time exploring the forest, meadow, and little creek, all just yards from your site.

Camp Shady Meadows is in a private and secluded area, offering soul-restoring solitude and quiet. The property is walking distance to the Middle Fork of the Feather River. When the water levels are high, you can enjoy fishing, hiking, and biking along the river -- and if you're experienced, white-water rafting and kayaking!

Lake Davis is just a short 20-minute drive away, where campers can see the expansive beauty of Plumas National Forest. At the lake, you can hike Lake Davis Trail or Catfish Cove Trail, fish for trout and bass, paddle around in a kayak or canoe, and even bring your mountain bikes for a ride on one of the many forest service roads and trails in the area.

Additionally, we have 5 mountain lakes within 20 minutes of camp. Similar to Lake Davis, there's an abundance of fishing, hiking, paddling, and wildlife watching.

The property is also home to an abundance of wildlife, including bald eagles, osprey, migratory waterfowl, deer, coyotes, and the occasional black bear. The nearest shop is less than 5 minutes away where you can purchase many of the basic necessities you may be looking for. In town, you'll find a variety of different restaurants, shops, and even a golf course!

We can't wait for you to book your stay with us!

Bonnie was so sweet. She greeted me on arrival. The area was very clean and quiet and easy to find when you follow her directions. I was there for one night to attend a wedding at nearby Kinship Ranch. It is so nice having someone as thoughtful and kind as Bonnie at the camp to make sure I got back safely and was comfortable during my stay. Thank You Bonnie!!

Hosts were friendly and delightful. Super close to lots of cool things and campground is very kid and dog friendly. Beautiful sites, has lots of areas to explore. Not dusty nor filled with weeds, gravel etc ( important with kids!)

We were a last minute Labor Day add, and they fit us in! Thank you so much.

View of the trees through the door. Maverick enjoying his spot on the couch in the trailer. Spot 13 a little tight for our trailer, but we were let in to camp with a full site on Labor Day weekend.

Unfortunately we have to reschedule due to the poor air quality in the area with the Dixie Fire. Not healthy with a young daughter.
Bonnie is the sweetest person ever. Welcomed us to take a look at the property and has been great to communicate with. She is so flexible and understanding. This is such an amazing location and CANNOT wait to reschedule and stay there.

This is going to be a Must go place for us each summer.
Thank you Bonnie for being so amazing
