This was hands down one of the most magical spots we have stayed in! Laurie the host was amazing! She gave us great directions out to the site and a tour of the property upon arrival. The tent was sparkling clean and had literally everything you would need for a weekend in the woods including a hot tub for star gazing at night, heated bed, pizza oven/bbq, full kitchen and fenced in property safe for the pups to roam around. We had the most amazing weekend at this little hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

Camp Ribbonwood is absolutely wonderful! Great views, amazing set up! The hot tub was incredible! Our dog love to roam around and there was the perfect little dog friendly hike behind the cabin tent!
Laurie was an amazing host and this little oasis was a reflection of that!

My stay at Camp Ribbonwood was AMAZING! Upon arrival I was met by Laurie who was kind, warm, and welcoming from the start and made me feel very much at home. She was attentive to my needs (which were few, the place is dialed) and offered lots of great recommendations on hikes in the area. An amazing host.

And then the place.. wow. I can't tell you how amazing it felt to be sitting in a hot tub watching the sunset as birds return home into the mountains above me every evening. It was magical. My only regret is that I didn't being my binoculars! The birds in the area are many, and beautiful. I saw at least 2 species of hawk flying overheard daily, and could listen to countless sing through the day. It was a perfect escape for me to enjoy some nature time with all my creature comforts.

Tent was just a little chilly at night in March, but the heated blanket and gas stove have the perfect cozy feel to make you just want to make some hot cocoa and enjoy a long, relaxing evening.

Overall this was a wonderful, private retreat and I cannot recommend staying at Camp Ribbonwood enough. I will be back!

My stay here was nothing short of magic!

Hosts: Laurie was very responsive via text and made sure to give us thorough directions, provided detailed instructions, and promptly answered all of our questions - even when we wanted to know something as small as “is there a wine opener?” (There was!) We met her husband Lane when we arrived and he brought us up to the tent, walked us through the how-to’s, and told us that him and Laurie were available if we needed anything during our stay. After that, we were left to our own devices and very much enjoyed the privacy. The up-keep, the customer service, and the hospitality was outstanding.

The tent: we had everything we could have wanted and then some for our stay. The tent came with plenty of essentials (like clean towels, fresh sheets, and clean dishes), tons of private space in nature, a parking spot that we easily maneuvered into, and entertainment options as well. The bed was VERY comfortable, and VERY warm (we stayed on a night where we had lows of 40 degrees). At night, it was well lit if we wanted it to be and the yard was fenced in, so we felt safe letting our pup roam and when we heard nature in full-force through out the night.

Our stay/What to do: when we arrived, we got settled and explored the area. We took our doggo on an off-leash hike and took in the amazing wild views along the way. We enjoyed a bath in the open-view claw-toed bathtub and made pizza for dinner. There was wi-fi so we streamed an episode of Rick and Morty and played a few games of chess by the electric fireplace. After that, we prepped for an epic stargazing jacuzzi session complete with red wine and candles. This was far and away our favorite part of our stay. We turned off the lights as we watched the sun disappear in the distance and the sky illuminated before us. It was so dark we could see planets, stars, and the Milky Way while keeping warm in the 104 degree hot-tub. We ended the night with a quick rinse and climbed into bed. We had a great night sleep, woken only by some coyote howls here and there (which was fun!) We were perfectly warm under layers and although the bed is heated, there was little need for us to use it. The next morning we arose to make some black coffee, eggs, potato, and fruit just after a sunrise soak.

Overall: this place was relaxing, romantic, and an all-around amazing experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who asks and I will cherish the memories made at Ribbonwood for a lifetime. It was such a wonderful little escape and we cannot thank Laurie and Lance enough for sharing!!

Hank was the happiest of doggos!Beautiful views and bird watching! Saw a bunch of blue-jays!What else would you want to wake up to?The entrance to the enclosed space to the tent.

INCREDIBLE. This tiny piece of paradise is so delightful. The charm and comfort of this beautiful glampsite surpassed all our expectations. Laurie was a terrific host who met all our needs prior to and upon arrival. We enjoyed the local hiking, bird watching, pizza grilling, hot tubbing under the stars, and gorgeous views from the private deck. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we felt very safe in the tent overnight. We even brought a telescope and saw Comet Neowise from the deck! This trip away from the city was exactly what our little family needed, especially in this crazy time we are living in right now. While there, we rebooked! Thank you Bluebird Tiny House!

This place was awesome, I do not know what to say that orobably has not already been said. The place was super secluded and romantic it was super dog friendly as well. The fence around the place kept me from having to worry about my pups going to far. Making pizza was fun, the hot tub was great at night. Nights are chilly so be prepared if you go during October. We had just about everything we needed. Laurie the host waa so great eveb before we got there answering any questions we had. For sure take the small hike around their property it is super cool.

One of our top 2 glamping spots out of a half dozen tried so far, and one of our top 10 total spots to have stayed in all categories.

The views were amazing, the privacy and quiet were great, the amenities very good. The private trail is a really good one and the access to nearby hiking is simple to drive to trailheads.

We got a great view of a meteor shower and lovely chorus from the coyote.
