Relax and unwind!
Great place! An unexpected burst of fun and discovery. My kids collected fresh egg from the coops and we cooked them up for a tasty egg and hashbrown breakfast 🍳. A perfect place for kids and adults! Angela made us feel right at home and then some. My kids did not want to leave!
We loved our RV spot. Beautiful views, cozy gas fire pit. So nice to have access to the shared kitchen and bathrooms. Angela is a GREAT host. So friendly and helpful. We will be back!
Beautiful views! You are surrounding by animals, so be prepared to hear the rosters crow. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Had everything we needed. Good location. Great stay!
Taste the soup!!
Angela and her property are wonderful! Great views, free range animals wandering around -- very quaint. But the soup was the BEST soup I've ever had! Do yourself a favor, and stay at Angela's property -- and taste the soup!! ;)
Cant wait to go back!!!!!
Angela was amazing! Such a cool lady and wonderful property. Amazing stunning views! Only issue (which was minor) was Google Maps it put me at the property down the hill . If your map app puts you at a gate with a STAR keep going up !!!!! go past the star up the hill and you will see her address on the right side cant miss it! very important. Luckily a nice neighbor lady pointed me in the right direction . My wife and I can wait to go back fore the whole weekend . we stayed for the night on the way to Paso Robles. You will not be disappointed. Also make sure you buy some carrots to feed the animals we completely forgot .
Nice relaxing weekend. Lots of chickens, ducks and a grumpy turkey thats the boss of the area lol. Town is close buy as well and great for some wine tasting (make a reservation) as it get a bit busy.
Mixed feelings about our stay
This is a hard review to write as we had mixed feelings about our stay.
The good: First off the property is beautiful and the animals are very cool! It’s conveniently located. This spot was big enough for our 21 ft trailer and would even fit something much larger. Angela the host was friendly.
The bad: I paid for the “I’ll cook for you add on”and the host forgot. We were picking up a brand new trailer and using this as first night trial run so we didn’t pack any food since we did the dinner add on. I even mentioned the add on in my booking notes and she acknowledged it in her reply back to me when confirming the booking. We were pretty disappointed when we arrived at 5pm and asked about it and she told us she had forgotten. She did mention she had something in the freezer she could defrost, but we told her we would rather take a refund since it didn’t sound as appealing at that point. I was glad she was honest with us and luckily there are some good restaurants near by. It was just not what we had planned on and a big inconvenience with two hangry kids.
Also this spot is not good for light sleepers. As mentioned this is a farm with multiple roosters that make noise all night long even way before the sun comes up. Additionally there are so many other guests staying on the property that I was woken up twice by people coming and going and locking their cars in the middle of the night.
Overall I was really sad to have mixed feelings and wanted to love it, but felt I needed to leave a fair review.
My advice is don’t book the add on and bring ear plugs and a white noise machine and you will love it.
