Incredible views, peace and quiet
This place was incredible. We are always looking for a new adventure and this place delivered. Spectacular views, out of the way, a few hikes and peace and quiet. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors and a new experience in and around Temecula :) Chris was incredibly informative and even gave a great recommendation for food in town. We will be back
My pup and I had a great stay. The road in is really fun: only slightly technical and totally accessible for all cars.
Chris has great style and I loved seeing how everything was created. The lodge felt open to nature, but private.
Others complained about sound, but even though there was some from Pendleton, I didn’t find it bad at all. I mean, if you reeeally want pristine quiet, then drive out into the middle of nowhere! This is an incredibly peaceful place with coffee/restaurants only 15 min away. That’s hard to beat!
Overall, great stay.
It was lovely to be alone in the mountains. Weather was perfect for a late September stay - high in upper 70s, overnight low in high 50s. Hiking trails were well marked and fun. Amenities inside were very complete. No internet or cell service, which was good for a few days.
The king sized bed is VERY comfortable... the couch is fine for sitting - not for sleeping.
Perfect birthday getaway!
Perfect spot. I just wish I could have had more time to stay. Took my grandma and aunt to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The lodge is equipped with most of the things you could use. Just bring your cover/ blankets.
About the experience, it was full moon, and it was amazing to see the sunset and minutes later the moon rising on the east side. Also, being able to see infinite mountains on the horizon while using the restroom!?! It pays off the trip 😂
Easy to access, as long as you follow the written explanation, Google map, and video, there is no way you will get lost.
Yes please and thank you
So amazing to arrive at night. Little scary for a low Nissan. Waking up with the Wildlife birds and scattered ground creatures Without traffic noise was my favorite. Comfortably Rested, had clean sheets, towels and pillow cases if needed. Also kitchen supplies, wonderful if we brought food. So Greatful this Gem was found! One of the best bathroom views
Cheers to the next Hipcamper
