Welcome to your creekside retreat. Our cabin is located a short walk along our meadow, past a grandmother cedar tree, and tucked away in its own part of our 8 acre property amongst towering cedars and a babbling brook. The cabin is privately situated in a lush part of our property, surrounded by the sounds of a year-round spring fed creek and bird songs. Once you sit on the balcony and let your spirit arrive, you will see why we have chosen to call this property home for the past 12 years. It is truly a sanctuary and we are thrilled to share it with you. The cabin is fully furnished with a wood carved balinese queen size bed, a sofa futon, vintage lamps, a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, a small fridge, clean super-charged well water, a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, a balcony with a wrought-iron picnic table & chairs, a Jasmine trellis, and views of the surrounding forest and hills in the distance. We have taken the liberty of decorating the cabin with various art, woodcarvings, and textiles from our travels abroad to create a globally eclectic aesthetic. The cabin is located about 40 steps from the carpark, so be prepared to carry or roll your bags to the front door. We will provide linens and blankets for the beds, but bring your own towels. We welcome well-behaved dogs but we do have small children, chickens, and a cat on the property, so your critter must stay with you at all times and not wander outside of the cabin yard. Our property is located a lovely 12 minute drive from the Bear River, 12 minute drive to Grass Valley or Nevada City, and 25 minutes to the closest swimming spot on the Yuba River. We are a 20 minute drive from Hwy 80 in Colfax (en route between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe).

Great time at Creek Song Cabin. We were visiting the area and wanted to see Grass Valley and Nevada City. The cabin was a perfect location to have privacy and still be close to both cities. The cabin is private, quiet and charming. Easy to get to and Jessica and Isaac were super helpful and quick to respond while still giving us complete privacy. Can’t recommend it enough.
