Bring your RV or pitch your tent on our shaded site, next to mature Eucalyptus trees. Our farm BYO experience offers a no-fuss stay on a real working farm located approximately 30 miles from Bakersfield. 20 acres surround you, bounded by the Tehachapi Mountains and within the San Joaquin Valley. Our BYO site is perched near the pond, where frogs sing lullabies into the evening hours. This site can accommodate up to 6 campers and has its own picnic table area, water spigot and fire pit. Campers provide firewood. There is one shared bathroom between all 4 sites and one shared outdoor shower with hot water. There's no electricity at your rustic home away from home, but the evening stars light up the sky.
We are a real, working farm and ranch. We love to host visitors, but please ensure you follow our rules. *If you arrive after 8pm or before 7am, we cannot accommodate an in-person greeting. Campsites and parking areas are numbered and marked to ensure you know where to go. *One vehicle per site and 6 campers maximum *BYO tents, tarps and canopies may NOT be set up on our grass/lawn area. Please set up in the designated area. *Quiet hours observed between 10pm-7am. *You are welcome to use our hammocks on our pond dock. You may also hang your hammock if you have tree straps, however nothing may be hammered, nailed, or affixed to our trees. *Swimming is permitted (and encouraged) however campers do so at their own risk. There is no lifeguard. *You may wander the property, but campers are not allowed in the pasture, barn, or on farm equipment and vehicles. *We have several working dogs that protect our flock. They do bark sometimes during the middle of the night. *There are roosters on our farm. They do cock-a-doodle-do in the early morning hours. Fair warning! *We are unable to accommodate farm tours at this time, but we encourage you to observe the daily rhythm of a real, working farm! *Shoes are required at all times, unless swimming. *Be respectful. We're happy to share our land with you and ask that you treat it with kindness, care and love.
Our goal is to reconnect the consumer to the farmer - the source of their food. By fostering direct relationships via CSA, farmer's markets and a strong presence in the community, we aim to ensure consumers have a vested interest in not only their food, but the health and environment in which their food was raised. We respect nature and strive to be good stewards of our land, raising our chickens and turkeys on pasture, supplemented only when necessary with non-GMO feed.

Peaceful farm retreat
We had a wonderful time camping at 20-Acre Farm. The location is quite lovely with a little swimming pond and beautiful tree-lined drive. Plenty of shade around the site during they day and awesome camp fires at night. There also amazing lights strung in several locations which makes for a cool atmosphere. It was so nice to be camping but still have a nice bathroom with a real toilet. There are two farm dogs, we named them Bryan and Morbius, they come around to check in every once in awhile, but they're very chill and mostly lay around. We had a great time camping at 20-acre Farm and would recommend it!
