Amazing campsite SO close to Santa Barbara. The water hole was spectacular, I didn’t get any poison oak on the easy 30-45 min hike. The campsite is well organized and easy to pick up and go with all of the amenities provided. The yurt was cozy and fancy
Santa barbara secret
We had a wonderful experience at the Santa Barbara Yurt. Rob, Savannah, Harmony, and Toby made us feel welcome and then let us enjoy the solitude. The walk to the waterfall was such a fun adventure and well worth the reward. We loved every minute in this special canyon.
Harmony's property is simply amazing. We had the best time and the facilities are perfect to feel like you are away from it all, however still in close proximity to downtown Santa Barbara. The hike to the waterfall is not to be missed!
Perfect family camping trip!
With the waterfall hike, swimming hole, and wood-burning hot tub, it would be easy to spend many days at Harmony’s place. We had the best time. The accommodations are amazing! Very nice yurt & hot showers. Harmony has thought of everything you would want and need at a campsite and provided it. Everything about the camp just made it super easy for us to enjoy & relax.
Unique experience and adventure
What an experience and adventure! This is a magical place with a gorgeous running stream down in the canyon’s crevice. The waterfall hike is so pretty with lots of river rocks to walk across and the trail is marked nicely. The waterfall runs all year round per report. The area is nicely shaded with eucalyptus and oaks so although it’s hot in the summer, you can always find shade. The campsite is so cool with provided propane tanks for fire in so many locations around the site. Also running water is provided in many locations where you need it. There’s an outdoor shower which is really cool and the wood fire hot tub is nothing I’ve ever seen before. The yurt is high quality and provides good protection against the wind that picks up at nighttime in the canyon. We brought kids and they loved the tire swing and fell in love with the family dog. This was an unforgettable trip and I would highly recommend it!
Amazing experience! My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary here and we were so impressed. Every part of this site is well thought out and nothing short of spectacular. We cannot wait to stay here again!
This site is great. Very private and the grounds have so many different areas to sit and enjoy. There were hammocks and even a tire swing. The trail to the waterfall is hard to get to but it’s worth it when you get there.
A few things to note…the exit from the main road is on the right side (even though google maps shows it on the left) and there wasn’t a clear sign. The yellow hip amp sign is down a driveway a little bit. The driveway/road to get to the site is rough but doable in sedan. It might be sketchy without an suv if it’s wet.
Would 100% come again!
Super pretty yurt. Very comfortable. Nicely appointed. Came with the entire campground, which includes 3 other tent sites.
The shower is very warm, which is nice. Heats immediately. Shower head is broken, so the water kind of sprays off the side.
Kitchen area has no lightning. Bring headlamps or lanterns. The one in the yurt isn’t really enough.
Hot tub was great. Highly recommend.
Definitely recommend a high clearance vehicle with all wheel drive. When our car (SUV) was not in AWD mode, it slipped a bit on the steep and loose climb out.
Definitely recommend coming the first time in daylight but you can come at night once you know the route.
The hike to the waterfall is fun and well marked. Wasn’t too hard to follow the trail.
Lots of trash bins which was nice!
The first night was super super windy throughout the area, and it crates a gouhlish howling sound from the nearby high power transmissions lines. Not a major problem but not ideal. Second night was more normal and was much nicer.
