PLEASE DO NOT STOP AT MY NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE. Drive between blue building and his house STRAIGHT AHEAD 300 feet past his farm equipment. Then you will be at our gate.
Welcome to our Private Alcove camping spot (site 2) with mountainous views. This is the perfect peaceful getaway near great outdoor activities, Clear Lake, and Mendocino National Forrest! We are dog friendly.
About the Property:
Our property is a grassy field where you can pitch your tents or park your small vans/campers, and it's tucked away among beautiful trees in a bowl of land and mountain views. The open sky is perfect for stargazing, and is one of our favorite things about this property. Bird watching is another fan favorite about our spot! There are horse trails and hiking from your campsite, which are two amazing ways to explore the outdoors here. Actually bring your corral and your horses. There are lakes nearby as well, namely Clear Lake, where kayaking and swimming can be enjoyed. We encourage you to check out our neighbor, just 2 miles up the road, aka, "Lodge at Blue Lakes," for boating rentals and daily beach access! We are close to Lakeport (15 minutes) - which has a drive-in theatre, Clearlake, Kelseyville and Ukiah (20 minutes). My personal favorite is Highland Springs Reservoir, an approximate 20 minute drive on country roads. Boating, swimming, hiking and BBQ available at Highland Springs as well. Our property is quiet and off the beaten path, so you can really unplug and enjoy the serenity that nature has to offer. There is no wifi on the property and cell reception is not accessible either - this is a true off-grid experience.
We are Lesbian owned and managed; LBGTQ and all are welcome here! We are olive growers so you'll have the chance to see our wonderful olive trees on the property if you'd like! Please note that the olive trees hang over our driveway and may scrape the sides of wider vehicles upon entry and exit. We have 3 friendly dogs and will do our best to keep them away from campers so as not to intrude. There is also a rooster on the property and coyotes can be heard in the distance, so if you are a light sleeper, we suggest bringing some earplugs.
We will have a meet and greet upon camper arrival, and we are around to help with any plans or itineraries that you'd like help with! However, we also respect your space while you are here. We do have other sites, so you should expect to see other campers in passing and in the common areas. The sites are well spaced out, though, and do provide you with privacy.
About the Listing:
Come pitch your tent or park you camper van (larger RVs are not really suitable) on our property and set up camp in our cute private alcove area on the property! Our site is equipped with a bath house with hot shower and a flush toilet for your comfort. There is a small outside wash sink and a little refrigerator to share with other campers staying at our campsite. We just added a new propane BBQ. We offer fresh eggs and in-season veggies for you and your company to enjoy. Our water is artesian so drink freely and bring bottles to take some magic home with you! There is also a picnic table for you to enjoy a nice bite to eat.

Hosts were fabulous so accommodating and kind. The facilities were so clean and everything was as advertised. I can’t say how much we loved it! There was a barbeque provided and at the suggestion of the host we picked up steaks and had them for dinner. The barbeque was spotless! I would go there again in a heartbeat.

The host was very kind and made us very comfortable when camping here! From the site there is a Beautiful view of all the stars and peaceful wilderness surrounding. No complaints with our stay.

This place is amazing!! Wide open spaces. Dogs are friendly. Other campers were great! Fridge and sink and bathrooms available.
Host greeted us and was kind.
Val is extremely hospitable and kind. We had a wonderful stay. The campsites are spacious and quiet. There are tables, chairs and potable water readily available at each site. Our stay was peaceful. It was awesome that it was dog friendly as well. The facilities are kept immaculate and there was plenty to do around the area. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Thanks Ashley thank you so much
My dog Mabel and I had the BEST time with Val. As promised, Val had eggs and cold bevvies ready for us upon arrival. We stayed on Site 1 which was not only tucked underneath a gorgeous tree, adjacent to a field for dog play, and a view of the mountains... but had our own water source! The layout of the property was perfect. The sites provided adequate space between the sites. We were far enough from other campers where it felt private, yet close enough to hang out (everyone Val books is SUPER friendly from amazing backgrounds). I would recommend the Glen Eden hike in the morning and a trip to the Lake in the afternoon. I cannot wait to return with family and friends.

You are too sweet, and your little dog too. I do hope you bring your family and take over the estate.
It was awesome staying here, we would definitely like to do it again. The location was great, just a few minutes from Blue lake where we rented a boat. It was quiet and peaceful and the host was very kind and attentive. We felt like we were in good hands
Loved it! It was so lovely to arrive to cold drinks and a warm welcome Friday night. Thanks Val!
What a wonderful space! Val was such a welcoming host and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
