This campground is absolutely wonderful. The amenities are very nice and clean, the campsite spacious and had a large picnic table and convenient parking. The option of the use of the grill and gas fire pit are a really nice touch. John was extremely communicative and gave us a kind welcome when we arrived. The trail around the property is a nice little hike with some awesome views, especially at sunset! This place is truly a hidden gem, I will be recommending to friends and hope to return soon. Thank you John for a wonderful weekend!

John has developed some great Hipcamp campsites on his property. There are several small touches that enhanced our stay, such as outdoor showers, outdoor wash tubs for dishes, a clean port potty, and a great hiking trail around the perimeter of the property. This is a great place to overnight or to enjoy a longer escape. Our campsite felt very safe and very private, and we would definitely stay there again on future southern cal desert adventures.

I loved camping on John's land. The place had incredible views and lots of amenities. I was there on the way back from the Grand Canyon, and didn't have time to use most of the nice amenities but the showers, fire pits, and BBQ's were a nice touch. The place was meticulous and one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at.

We had a great campsite and truly enjoyed the Unique Mountain Retreat. Our site was clean, level and well laid-out. We loved the thoughtful touches that John included to enhance the camper's experience. The property is safe and secure with lots of privacy at our campsite. John encouraged us to hike the trail on his property and we loved it.
