Thanks for such a serene “home away from home”! We absolutely loved the dog house and we’d definitely come back again when the weather conditions clear up from the forest fires. So much wildlife to see around the area.

Delightful stay in the woods, would highly recommend. Remember to bring your own propane (also sold at the nearby Ace) because it can get quite cold in the cabin during the winter months (wood you can purchase on site). Also, bring your own bedding and sleeping pads.

There were some ants and a single wasp in the cabin, so all-in-all a great time and everything was as expected! Since we stayed during the winter time, no one was camping outside and we nearly had the entire campground to ourselves! What a delight.

We arrived and the campgrounds exceeded our expectations! Really gorgeous site on Jim/Christina's property that provided wonderful views.

This IS camping, but the flushable toilet was a game changer. It is a motion-sensor lighted communal outhouse with cleaning supplies inside. Washing station with soap and paper towels were right outside. Our cabin was equipped with a little buddy heater that kept us warm through the chilly nights. Definitely make sure to bring enough propane tanks to power it. We used about 6 1lb cylinders for two nights - I get cold easily! We also brought our own air mattress and slept on that instead of the cots provided. The sites are separated enough to maintain your privacy among other campers. We had our own fire pit right outside the cabin which we didn't expect from the reviews/pictures. There is disc golfing and horseshoe games around the campgrounds which was super neat too. At night, the stars were absolutely beautiful. Jim was super helpful and personable throughout the trip whenever we requested some assistance with extra firewood or we simply ran into him on the campgrounds!

Overall, lovely trip for NYE. We're planning to come back with our families soon :)

This spot was perfect! So many trees great for hanging hammocks up to relax, and an amazing view of the sunset over the hills. The hosts were kind and quick to respond to any questions. We used about four 1lb propane tanks with the heater to keep the cabin nice and cozy for two nights. The cabin was super cute! Nothing fancy, but perfect if you're just looking for a warm place to sleep while you camp.

We headed here over Labor Day weekend. A couple small modifications (fix the stairs, empty the overflowing bathroom trash) would have helped, but all in all it was definitely the relaxing woods experience we wanted.

Not the hosts fault but unlike some other places, there were 0 bugs at night, I slept outside w/o a tent and took in the moon/stars- BUT in the morning they were everywhere. Id recommend doing a cold breakfast for future stayers so you don't have to cook in the morning.
