We had a really special experience at this project. Their art work is amazing! It was a really hot day, so we did not sleep so well. But our teenagers loves to sleep on the deck of the dome under the stars. The people were so friendly, we were allowed to use and see everything. We recommended it because it is really different and real, in contrast to the motels and Las Vegas.

An utterly unique spot in the desert. People are so friendly, welcoming, and kind. This is a full "off the grid" eco-living experience. The little mud houses are adorable -- recommend booking one of them, the bigger one looks really cozy, if you stay here. Fire pit is deep and well stocked, we had no use for the offered propane stove, we easily cooked our food over the fire with the homemade grate. Next time, I'd bring my own cooking pots. the kitchen has a lot of stuff, but it's a little dirty b/c of flies and folks trying to conserve water here, which is a good thing. Would not recommend the trailer unless you have a high tolerance for somewhat dirty conditions (again, remember that folks here are trying to conserve water, so there's no laundry for sheets etc). Bathroom is basically a bucket with a toilet lid that you thrown straw in, we are accustomed to wild conditions so this wasn't a big deal, but people should be aware. All in all, we had a nice stay, but as one other reviewer noted, be prepared for super rustic conditions.

I really enjoyed my time in the earth dome, it was a lovely place to wake up. The hosts and guests were all a pleasure to chat with and the property was a cool art experience to walk amongst.

I had a wonderful time staying out at the three Moons project. I was in search of a getaway out in nature and they did not disappoint in the least. The entire property is surrounded by incredible unobstructed scenic desert and mountain views. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely beautiful out there. The entire place has such a charm and character that completely matches the lady Jehane that runs it. The adobe style earth domes are absolute works of art and very unique accomodations to stay in. If you want something more traditional the trailers on site are a good secondary option. The entire place is ornately and uniquely decorated. If you want a style reference look up Parc Guell in Spain, because her mosaic artistry and glass work is very much in that same stunning vein. If you make it out say hello to Steve and George as well, that work out at the site or were great to meet. My only heads up would be to make sure you are expecting a truly more rustic stay. You'll want to bring some bedding of your own. The bathroom was certainly unique and is another photo op in and of itself. If you want luxury head on in to Vegas. If you want nature, natural and man made art, and a unique and amazing experience in the California desert, this place is for you. Highly recommended for photographers or writers looking for a quiet place to get inspired. Jehane also does work away stays for those interested. Thank you Jehane for a blessed stay. I'll certainly be back.
